Author has written 2 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender.

Introduction

My name is Kevin, and I am a 16 year old in High School. I'm not an aspiring young writer, but I do enjoy literature. In school, English remains by far my favorite subject. It's fascinating how authors can so seemingly build up a fictional piece of literature that not only conveys a coherent story, but leaves a lasting message on the minds of the young and old. You don't see that in the mathematical world.

I've written fanfiction for a couple of years now, and it's sort of become the hobby that I do when everything else is away. You'll notice that I only have two stories and are wondering "Well if you've written for a couple of years now, what's with the shortage of stories?" Well, I'm just going to say that I disapproved of what I used to write and "purged" them from my memory. Needless to say that I didn't like them very much and decided to get rid of them.

Though some people tended to enjoy them, I find nothing wrong with the occasional deletion of my work. Then again, since I have no backups on my computer, the story itself is lost from all reality, but I'm fine with that. Everything passes, and these were not the stuff of legend anyway.

Fandom

Avatar the Last Airbender. It's a great show. There are numerous plot holes and flaws, yes, but it's ability to have such a great story with such a solid concept was impressive at least. Unlike other stories, this fandom has so much to offer to its writers. Ships, for example, are something that are done on a daily basis. Though I try to refrain now from the sappy stuff that you sometimes see all around you, I guess that's something that happens.

Another thing that Avatar offers is the world and the setting. There are endless possibilities that were not explored in the Avatar Universe.

I think it calls for some heavy fanfiction writing in that direction of understanding how the Avatar World works. Sadly, the majority of writers enjoy just writing about the fluff. I mean it's fine, and I enjoy the fluff that comes out of the Avatar world...but only in moderation. There's always the times where I want to see something written that has an amazing idea and sophisticated story.

When one has the opportunity to write on such complex topics, you don't just skip that chance! You take up the challenge, and you peck at it. Anyway, enough of my ranting on this field.

How often do I update?

Hopefully, once a week. That seems to be difficult, considering I have school to deal with, and a ton of extracurricular activities. But I try as hard as possible to update. I'm not sure which stories I update, but both of them are interconnected and tied, so you'll be basically getting the same slice of the cake if you read either one of those stories.

Needless to say, if I can't finish up a 4000 word document, I'll probably be writing up a short 500 word drabble for you guys to read. So no worries in frequency of updates.

Any other questions?

Just ask. I'm sure most people don't want to know about my life, and instead just want to read what I have to write, but if there's anyone that actually wants to know what's driving my mind, then go for it.

Plus, it's fine to just ask me what's my favorite ships, though it's pretty easy to point out. (Hint: It's down there).

Cheers,
