For all you people who don't live in Ireland I'll tell you how school works over here

first you go to a school primary school at the age of 4 and stay in that school for 8 years

it goes:

Jr. Infants 4 to 5

Sr. Infants 5 to 6

1st class 6 to 7

2nd class 7 to 8

3rd class 8 to 9

4th class 9 to 10

5th class 10 to 11

6th class 11 to 12

then you go into a new school called Secondary school for six years

1st year 12 to 13

2nd year 13 to 14

3rd year 14 to 15

4th year 15 to 16

5th year 16 to 17

6th year 17 to 18
