I don't really come around here much any more. Most of my visits to this site include looking around for fic, as I write and publish my own stuff at about the speed of lukewarm molasses. I originally started off in fandom and fanfiction here in the summer of 2007 in the Phoenix Wright fandom, and as such I've stayed fairly close to the PW section for years.

General Online/Fandom Info--

--My pairing interests lie within mostly within femslash. I like a few slash and het pairings, but there's just something about femslash that's just so much more...interesting. To me, at least.

--Grammar is very important to me. As Pink Freak of ficbitchesputs it so well, "spelling and grammar are to the internet world as tooth-brushing and hair-washing are to the real world. No matter how nice of a person you are, people are still going to form a bad opinion of you based on your outward presentation and hygiene" (source).

--Fandoms: Azumanga Daioh, The World Ends With You, Fallout (3 and onwards), Avatar: the Last Airbender,and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. I "dabble" (read fics and write few) in a few other fandoms, but the only ones that go public are in those five.

--My view on reviews is that they should dish out deserved parts of criticism and praise. It's always nice to get a review that says it was lovely and perfect but it's only the ones that say "good, but this could be better" that you really learn from. Nowadays I try to criticize and praise in every review I leave, which is why I don't leave many and, when I do, they're often very long and (maybe) tedious to wade through.
