Ummm, yes...well...about me...not much to tell really. I'm entirely too old to be spending all my free time reading/writing smut about fictional characters but what's a girl to do, really? As an over 35 single-mom with a teenage son, I'm not senile yet, despite what my darling son tells me.

I'm a HUGE Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Eragon, CSI, Criminal Minds, Big Bang Theory and Monty Python fan. I love video games, fan fiction (OBVIOUSLY) and movies. I tend to stay up far too late doing things people 15 years younger than me have outgrown, but I revel in my silliness and shall continue to along this track until I can no longer see to drive myself home from midnight book release parties and movie premiers.

When I first started reading fan fic, especially Harry Potter, I didn't understand how anyone could possibly read a story that shipped anything other than a canon pairing. Thank Merlin my eyes have been opened and I have seen the light! As a result, I am open to nearly any pairing or ship with the exception of those including Tonks, Ginny or Ron in Harry Potter and Gideon in Criminal Minds.

I'm a HUGE Hermione fan. I never really liked Tonks to begin with. Then when JRK put her with MY werewolf, I just couldn't abide by that. There are three people Remus belongs with, Hermione, Sirius or ME. That's it! As for Ron, I don't dislike him as a character, just as a match for Hermione. And Ginny, well...I was pretty ambivalent about her in the books...but she's been so maligned in fan fiction that I must admit that loathing has rubbed off a bit on me. And then we have dear Jason Gideon in the Criminal Minds universe. I loved the character, but he's just too much like everyone's dad for me to see him as a romantic option for any of the others.

I also don't usually like original characters as ships with canon characters. There is one rather notable exception to this rule by one author. (Lady Kestrel, you know who you are ;)) I know that's silly given that it's fan authored fiction, but you know, that's how it is.

The other fandoms I'm part of are CSI and very recently Criminal Minds. It's all such a rich community of amazing authors that I usually second guess myself before I post anything because there is stuff out there that's so much better than anything I could ever dream of doing. Which brings me to my co-author...

I adore my wonderful co-author, partner in crime and dear friend, I'm Just Drawn That Way. Since meeting each other online, I don't know if there's been a full 24 hour period that we've gone without talking on the phone, IMing or texting each other. We are usually so in synch that I don't have to finish a thought and she knows where I'm going. Or when we're writing she has an amazing ability to take my brief two or three sentence idea for a scene and turn it into a fully formed living breathing entity almost. I am often in awe of her! If you haven't done so already, check out her stuff...she WROCKS!!
