It's a wizard rock band and I write songs 'bout Harry Potter! I even wrote a song called Squid-D-D! inspired by What REALLY happened to Salazar Slytherin and The Random Adventures of Fenir Greyback.

Awesome People:

SilverDrama, one of the best authors EVER also I'm getting more reviews and I suspect it's because I'm on your profile,

Anna, you're a awesome person. Helpful, loyal and you are the only person who really stuck with Time At the Burrow.

and Trisha-Black my sis, and my brother joefish

Also JK Rowling, Alex Carpenter and Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, Without them my life would be nothing

The Ships in my Armada

Neville+Luna, my two fav characters!! Luna Lovegood, you're too good for your own good!

George+Alicia- the whole he marries Angelina thing is weird, it's like he's stealing his brother's girl over his dead body.

Tonks+Remus- They are fluff to the max! MULTICOLOURED WEREWOLF BABIES FOR THE WIN!!

Lily(II)+Scorpius- why would anyone match Rose/Scorpius? Is it because they're wacked fantasies of Hermione/Draco can't be fullfilled? Scorpius/Lily would be way cuter, and the parents might be more accepting

Rowena Ravenclaw+Godric Gryffindor, Because red and blue makes purple but green and blue only makes green and blue

Standard: Ginny+Harry, Lily+James, Ron+Hermione

Odd Ones I will Read: Young Sirius/Ginny, Young Remus/Hermione, Tom Riddle/Hermione, Draco/Luna, George/Luna

Other Fandoms

Robin Hood BBC: Robin/Marian, Much/Eve, Guy/Meg, Prince John/Isabella, Allan/Kate, Will/Djaq

Merlin BBC: Morgana/Merlin, Gwen/Lancelot, Arthur/himself (cause he's vain like that

Tim Burton's Works: Jack/Sally, Bonejangles/Emily, Sweeney/Nellie, Antony/Johanna

Criminal Minds: Prentiss/Hotchner, friend!Morgan/Garcia, Reid/OC

In Progress Stories

Back in Time- Ginny Style- Man I love this story! It's such a good work of fiction in my opinion and in the opinions of my many reviewers! All you need is Ginny!

Wooing A Seer: My 2nd year story. A prequel to Another Constellation, but is more of a stand along fanfiction, cause you can read it without Another Constellation

Rowena Ravenclaw: An Insight- Slight Hiatus. I want to finish Back in Time: Ginny Style before I work on this some more.

Possible Future Projects: In Which I Plan to Branch Out my Fandoms

Teddy and the Law- A story inspired by Marriage Law fanfictions and lovely werewolves in Harry Potter. I've decided to rewrite it in the AU world of Teddy Lupin the Werewolf. This is what happens when idle hands are near a keyboard.

Across the Sea: A Back In Time/Crossover between Harry Potter and Merlin BBC involving the wonderful Hermione, Luna and Neville. They must go back in time to find the legendary Merlin so that he can help them defeat Voldemort. Unfourtunatly this world of Camelot is nothing like they expected. Arthur's a brat, Morgana's nice and Gwenivere and Merlin are servants! What will they do?

Back to Sherwood- My first non-Harry Potter fic about Robin Hood BBC. Djaq and Will come back to Sherwood from the Holy Land to find Robin needs thier help, but can they help? (In which I only take a few points from Season 3)

Back Downstairs: Set in the world created by Tim Burton and his Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride: Young Vanessa dreams of a better life, one where she has a purpose. When her parents take an interest in her only to tell her to stay away from the woods her interest is piqued. But when she falls down the hole beneath the old tree, she finds herself in the exciting and lively world of Downstairs, the only catch is, everyone is dead. (Being turned into a comic for DeviantART)

THINGS THAT WILL HELP YOU WITH YOUR FANFICTION WRITING (Harry Potter centric)

OC Characters:

Nationalities:

Mostly when people make up an OC character he/she are just introduced and have no previous mention on any of their stories, this is fine.

But what really gets on my nerves are when the OCs are from the United States! The US is quite firmly against Britain and those associated with Britain (like us chaps up in Canada) So when you want to bring a North American over to Britain wouldn't it be a Canadian instead of an American? It makes so much more sense, if the American character is to go anywhere make it Paris, or some other 'glamorous' place. So anyway, make your North American characters Canadian. PLEASE!

Or make them European but making them French and Romanian is really overdone. Just because there are those two schools doesn't mean you should ignore the rest of Europe. There are obviously Swedish, German, Italian, Chinese, Turkish (etc.) wizards. Try and be creative, it's a fan fiction!

Naming your OCs

Point 1: First of all if you want a good story, use character names that have been previously mentioned. Wikipedia is a great resource for character names. Using minor characters is always good because it fits with Jo Rowling's world because that's a name she used but not a character she has in her arsenal. That personality is all yours.

Also using familiar names will give the audience a feel for the story and decrease confusion. When you introduce a bunch of strange or new names, the audience strains to remember them all.

Point 2: For Back in Time stories in the recent era, you need to sprinkle in the names like, "Potter, Boot, Smith, Malfoy, Abbott, Brown etc" because unless we have a mass immigration, you will have no kids for the future. We need something to grasp on like 'Oh it's Harry's dad!' then you already have a mental image and you can focus on the plot more.

Also give the guys the familiar names because the last name of the male goes to the kids,For example Luna Lovegood has Xeno Lovegood for a dad, right? But her mother could have the name of Solaria Athens, but Luna would be Luna.

Point 3: When thinking up names consider the bloodline of the character. A muggleborn would not have a long and complicated name like Aphiandora Canticle, try a simpler name like Maria Turner. Purebloods can have elaborate names but try and keep the fanciness to a minimum.

I myself enjoy long names but they are hard to remember when used in excess. Try to use names that can be shortened. Even with a name like Hermione you can get numerous names out of it: Herms, Mione, Mia, Hermy, Mya, Herma etc.

Point 4: Meanings of names are also helpful because they add interest and can be used for plot items in the future. If you want to tie someone to the Black Family you can give them a name that means a star or constellation.

Also since a lot of names are based on Latin (which ties into English) names can remind people subconsciously of words or personality traits. This can make the name fit perfectly in the person's mind without them even realizing it. EX. Oculura, meaning 'Beautiful eyes'. This name reminds someone of eyes which means you can give someone really nice eyes which everyone comments one.

Stuck on Scenes:

One thing that has always annoyed me is when I get the idea for a really good battle/romantic/emotional scene and I want to share it. Unfortunately you need a back story for the scene so you need to write a few chapters before this scene. The result of your rush is a horrible story that turn people off so no one would want to stick around for your beautiful scene.

My advice is to write the scene beforehand and then write the back story. Then the idea is out of your head and doesn't annoy you anymore. After that you can plan out how it's going to lead up to said scene.

Powers and Abilities:

Some people enjoy writing about lovely little people with extra powers like Metamorphmagi, Animagi or Seers . All are interesting plot devices and widely used in fan fiction, but an overuse can result in a Mary-Sue or Gary-Stu. This is something you do not want.

If you are using a preexisting character such as Nymphadora Tonks, Professor or Sirius Black than try and refrain from using other characters with these powers because if everybody in your story becomes an animagus, your audience starts to dislike your fanfiction.

But if you are using an OC character as your Seer or Animagi, only make them have one of the three powers I have listed. If you have an overlap, you immediatly have a little Mary-Sue on your hands. Even if you character has a high IQ or gets a lot of help, it's just too perfect to give them much powers.

Wandless Magic:

Known only in fanfiction, the use of wandless magic is a interesting one. We know as children, witches and wizards can preform wandless magic. Such examples are Lily Evan's show of flight or Serverus Snape's talent to drop tree branches on people who irked him. But we do know it exists.

The only problem is that when a wizard reaches the age that they receive a wand they tend to lose the ability to make things levitate and change colour with their mind. It's most likely that the only witches and wizards to keep the ability are those with high intellect (meaning they can relearn the talent) or those with such a carefree and creative mind that theirbrain keeps the aspects of childhood that keeps them from relying on a wand.

Fan fictions sometime show characters (like Hermione Granger or Harry Potter) using wandless magic in tough spots or for everyday use. My advice is to only use in high traffic scenes.

If a character is continuously using wandless magic it makes for a very boring story. As I have already stated, small children master wandless magic most effectively. This is because they have a wider range of emotions that have not been pushed back by peer pressure or criticism from teachers and parents. Tapping into the emotions is most likely what makes wandless magic work, so when using wandless magic, do it when the character is threatened by Death Eaters, or overjoyed that everybody is alright after a very emotionally demanding scene.

But if you want to prove the intelligence of your character, and make them learn wandless magic, at least make it physically draining, because it can't be as easy as using a wand. It's a challenge finding a balence in your stories to make them interesting and exciting.
