I am a 21-year-old college student, going for a totally useful (hurf-derf) BA in English (with an emphasis on writing). To be perfectly honest, I have not written fanfiction in quite a while at this point. I have been focused on school and working on my own writing. I may occasionally write a fanfic, but for the most part, you can consider me off of the 'fanfiction writer circuit'.

Well, at least for now. Perhaps I will become so frustrated over my inability to break into the wonderful world of writing professionally that I will break down and begin writing fanfics again just to hear that sweet sweet praise.

My Next Fanfic

I am just not interested in writing fanfiction anymore. I want to write my own stuff. Practicing/honing my writing with fanfics seems silly to me at this point. The stuff I currently read isn't something one writes fanfics about, after all.
