Author has written 38 stories for Degrassi, Fairy Tales, and Outsiders. Okay, I'm changing this, my other bio thing was stupid. Not like this one won't be. But maybe it won't. Anyway, I suppose I'm still sort of obsessed with Degrassi, but how can I help it? There's just so much. There's all the little looks and expressions on Craig from season two up until season four...then just glimpses beyond that. But each one of those telling expressions has a fanfiction story behind it. And I'm thinking about the review thing, how it's clear that a lot more people read stories (or at least hit on them) then review them. It's too bad that couldn't change, since most authors are review whores(myself included). It's just such an addictive little thrill, the review waiting all wrapped up in your mail box like the shiniest Christmas present. But I'm guilty of reading and not reviewing, and I'm going to review X amount of stories per day in the hopes that more people will review, too. Like paying it forward. I don't know. God, this bio kind of sucks. What could I say about me? That maybe no one cares? No, no. That's negative. And that I kind of am getting sick of this name I chose, it kind of stinks. But I'm afraid to change it due to name recognition so I guess I'm stuck with it. Okay, anyway, I live on the east coast of the United States and winters are rotten but there are no floods or earthquakes. Oh God. It's geography. Okay, um, bands. I love love love Placebo, oh they are so good, but I think the drummer left or somebody. That's no good. But they have these amazing songs, amazing albums, they just really blow me away. Movies? Anybody? I love "Harold and Maude". Ughh, Bud Cort as Harold in this movie is adorable and not just adorable but kind of hot. Not in a Brad Pitt way(but then again I think Brad Pitt is the old standard, he's getting a little old, but Bud Cort is older than he is, but he wasn't then). I'm rambling, I'm sorry. I love "Harold and Maude" you know, untraditional love story and that kind of thing. They say Bud Cort in this movie...Harold Chasen...is the prototype of the emo/goth thing. And that's really cool. Besides Degrassi I like "Six Feet Under" a whole lot, it is just so cool. It's funny, I've never written a Six Feet Under fanfiction. Maybe because it's not like Degrassi, where more needs to be said sometimes, or explored. Because Degrassi as a show has its limitations. It is sort of PG-13 at best, and some things that could be explicit are left out because of the perceived younger audience, and then other things are just not explored fully or other things are gotten over too quickly. It needs to be addressed. "Six Feet Under" doesn't have that problem. IT's R and X, it's like life but maybe more pretentious, but it explores things, it takes the issues to the bone, right to the marrow, unlike Degrassi, much as I love it. It doesn't. Like that old N slogan about "it goes there," It doesn't. It almost does. It wants to. But it needs fanfiction to fill in the gaps. Sorry about the babble, I think I might be a little tired. And hungry. I'm going to get something to eat and watch "Six Feet Under" on DVD. Bye. | |||||||||
