Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. I used to use this site only to read the fanfics that others posted. I'd favorite and comment and tell myself, I'll start next year. Well, that was when I was living with my mother. She didn't mind me on this site, but I moved out last year. Now I'm living with my dad and he's really against this site. He doesn't think it's good for me to just stay home reading and writing. I've been with him for about a year and for half a year I never visited this site. I remembered some of my favorite stories were written by older people, some in their twenties. On my 15th birthday I got a laptop. Needless to say, after downloading my tunes I got bored. So many possabilities and idle hands... well, thank god it was summer. I now have two fanfics out, Alea Jacta Est and Cruentus Bellum. I think it's coming along well, but it's really not how I thought it'd be. I plan things out, but I really don't need to. I get better ideas when I just start typing. I've already created a C2/ Community and as soon as I reach chapter ten on my fanfics that's where their going. If you like reading my first fanfics, then you should really check it out. If it sparks your interest, message me and I'll consider you for staff. Now that the background stuff's over with, below are a few little things about myself. Ships I Sail: Harry Potter: SS/OC Harry Potter: DM/OC Harry Potter: LM/OC ...can you tell I like my own characters... InuYasha: Sesshomarou/OC InuYasha: Naraku/OC ... I can't help but love the evil... Hannibal: HL/OC To Do List: Get fanfics & staff for C2/ Community Reach Chapter 10 on Alea Jacta Est & Cruentus Bellum So yes, my main fanfics will consist of Harry Potter, InuYasha, Hannibal, and another unpolular anime that I adore called Vampire Game. There aren't many fanfics for that one, but I'll change that. Also, if I have time, I'd like to get in a view fanfics on Inkheart or Inkspell before the movie comes out. For all you fans out there, I cannot wait to see Dustinger and Capricorn. Any way, I have a diffferent way of approaching romance fanfics. You'll see if you read any of my work. I also like to keep things somewhat realistic. That's why I will either do original pairings, or I add a character that seems compatable to the story. That's why I don't really read slash unless there's actually a chance of a relationship between them. As I said, realistic pairings only for any sexual preference. Another pairing that deeply disturbed me for a long time was SS/HG. I thought it was highly improbable and creepy. He's many things, but a phedofile is not one of them and besides that, I hate Granger. Unfortunately that's the most written SS pairing so I read it. Also, I always give fair reviews. Even if I didn't like the pairing, if the story was good, so is the review. I don't like letting my personal opinions about something block out the reality. If you deserved a good comment you'll get one. Some of my comments, which are sometimes quite long, also include a request to read my work. I only give such comments out to people who I think I could benefit from. If you've recieved such a comment, I've obviously commented your fanfic, so I merely ask you return the favor with anything you care to write. Good, bad, I can take it, and be forever grateful. Back onto the internet connection thing. My dad decided to get me a wireless connection so I can download music off limewire in my own room. That also means fanfiction!!! It's made me ever so happy. He just got it and I swear I haven't been out of my room, besides for necessities, in days. Considering it's his vacation time, I know it's selfish, but I just love to write. Everytime I finish a page, I check the word count and say, "Just a little more tomorrow, then." It's got to be long for me to be satisfied so between revising everything from day to day to adding on new plot twists it grows faster and more steadily than I ever hoped it would. That was another one of my pet peeves; short chapters. For those of you out there who hate the shortness as much as I, you're my ickle stream flowing with motivation. One last thing. I love comments! I adore them, I really do. Especialy critisism. I'll probably continue on without them, but I'd really appreciate some feedback on how I'm doing.I'm resolved not to start working on the next chapter until I have at least 10 reviews. Instead, I'll be working on a fanfic for a different book, movie, or anime. I'm really nervous so the comments help and they'll get the story flowing faster, but still, I ask they be helpful in some way at pionting out the good and/or bad. I still can't find all the info I need, mainly most of the teacher's first names, so if you see something wrong, please tell me so I can fix it. Also, constructive praise works, too. If you think it's good, what about it was enjoyable. I'd like to keep the readers satisfied, so keep the comments coming. | |||||||||||
