Author has written 27 stories for Stargate: Atlantis, Angel, Magnificent Seven, and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. I was born and raised in a dinky little town - Cut Bank, Montana - whose only distinction was being cold spot of the nation more than once and being windier than hell, and I come from a family of voracious readers and smart-asses. Needless to say, my imagination flourished at a young age out of necessity, being treated like a freak through school because I did have an imagination (gotta love small towns), and chronic insominia since birth. I started writing in high school, took a few classes (i.e. 3) in college for which I received really good feedback, and have been writing off and on since. I've really gotten back into the swing of things the last few years thanks to very supportive friends (couldn't have done it without ya!). I will be submitting my first manuscript to a publisher this year with hopes, but until then it's practice, practice, practice! I dabbled with some ST:TNG back in the '90's, but never really did more than vignettes. I used them as practice as I developed my original stuff. "The Claws That Catch" is officially my first complete fanfic, and it all came from a dream - a little ten minute thing that just kinda stuck in the back of my mind and would not go away. Funny, get a lot of ideas that way. Some really warped, others ... well, I'll keep those pornographic ones about Sheppard to myself. Ahem. So enjoy, send feedback (the confidence really needs it, sorry to say), even if it is an electronic raspberry or implied hand gesture, and remember these words to live by: "It's all Rodney's fault."
