Author has written 13 stories for Dragonriders of Pern series, and Battlestar Galactica. Hello. If you are reading this it is safe to assume you are curious about me. I am male and work at a Rescue mission, which is a homeless shelter, as a cook. And before you roll your eyes, this is the best job in the world for me. To get to help those less fortunate than myself while doing something I love and to get paid a living to boot? Doesn't get any better than that for me. After nearly 10 months, Reunion is now complete as of 5/15/08. Whew! Performed a very minor rewrite of Brown Flight. Seems I had T'sum as one of the contenders. I was rereading Dragonflight and Canon states T'sum is a brownrider and therefore wouldn't be in contention. Performed a very minor rewrite of Chapter Seven of Queenrider From Earth. I was rereading the books and it seems that Fax was never confirmed. So I substituted Meron instead. After more than 5 1/2 months, Queenrider From Earth is is now complete as of 11/23/08 After nearly 9 months, Asylum is now complete as of 12/2/09 To Ride White is on extended hold. Every time I try to write something on that story, nothing comes out. I can only surmise that the story is not yet, as of this writing, meant to be written. Yeah I know. I'll leave it up for now because it is not being discontinued. It's simply stuck in the mud. Maybe some of my other ideas will un-stick it. In any event I need to move on to some other ideas for right now. I'll get back to it when inspiration strikes. No Quarter has also been giving me some grief, but not as much as To Ride White. I have actually been able to make some progress on it, but I sometimes go days without inspiration. Other info about projects for this site are below. One note here: None of my stories that are in progress on this site are abandoned. Sometimes I think my muse abandons me, but I don't abandon stories. If I don't plan to continue one (that has happened), I'll pull it from the site. Projects in advanced preparation: Lineage(Working Title, Probably will change): A sequel of sorts to "Dragon Dream?' Distant Impression (working title may change): A girl on Earth hears a voice in her head. Or so she thinks. Projects in Work: No Quarter: This is a departure, is that the right word? as this story is a diversion from my normal (if you can call ir that) Pern work. It's a story of how the Battlestar Galactica finds or is found by Earth. Based on the Original series disregarding the abortive second season of that series. I'm not leaving Pern fan writing, this story just got stuck in my head and writing it is the only way to get it out. Chapter 6 online as of 12/23/10. To Ride White: A story that follows a young man who impresses a white dragon. Set in the Reunion AU some 190 turns/years after The Skies Of Pern. Chapter 5 online as of 12/14/10. (On indefinite hold. Reunion: Earth loses it's only source of Numbweed and must send a starship to Rukbat even though it's interdicted. Completed on 5/15/08. The Law of the Weyr: What happens when a visitor from Earth is searched and found worthy. Set in the Reunion AU. Dragon Navigator: The Beginning: Backstory to The Law Of The Weyr explaining how dragons came to direct spacecraft between. Set in Reunion AU. Queenrider From Earth: Sequel to Reunion, of sorts. Set in the Reunion AU. Follows Ellen Cartwright as she learns the duties, responsibilities, and priveliges of riding a queen dragon. Soulmates: A healer apprentice is searched and finds out why he is driven to heal. Dragon Dream?: A boy from the early 21st centruy finds himself on Pern. I know it has been done before but this has a new twist. Asylum: A fugitive from Earth lands on Pern and request political asylum. Reunion AU. Rated T for a mating flight and mild language.
