Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter, Yu-Gi-Oh, No Country for Old Men, and Warcraft. Hey there! My name is Erica =) I am a senior in college and for some reason I have yet to figure out, I still enjoy reading and writing fanfiction! My mom writes fanfiction too, and even though I haven't seen her since I was 8, I inherited her love of fanfiction, apparently. Interesting nature vs nurture tidbit...anyway, Clearly I am not alone! I suppose its because the shows I watched as a young girl (8-12) left me wanting more and left so many possibilities, hence all of the shippings in say, Yugi-Oh. I typically only read Yu-Gi-Oh and DBZ fics but have written 2 from YGO, 2 from Harry Potter, 1 for World of Warcraft and 1 from...No Country for Old Men. Random, I know. I really enjoy playing WoW and have written a story about some characters! Check it out. And yes, I AM a girl who plays WoW! I have been told I don't look like a girl who would play, but thats up to you. I'll send you my picture if you want to decide for yourself ;) My favorite YGO pairings are Bakura x Anzu and Seto x Anzu. I don't mind stories with Atem/Yuugi/Yami Yugi x Anzu, but to me that is just too obvious and boring. Idk, to each his own though. I HATE seeing Seto x Serenity in a story. I can't really tell you why, it just irks me. So does bad grammar and sucky writing. Most of my fellow authors are great, but there are some that make me wonder how they passed third grade. We all make slip ups, but I'm talking about grammar errors/spelling/comprehension issues of 10+ per chapter. I can't count how many amazing summaries I have read only to be let down once I got into the actual substance of the story. It makes me want to email the writer and say, "Can I have your story idea or help you write it because its great, your story/writing just sucks." Speaking of that, if you notice flaws in my writing, please tell me. I want to be as concise and clear as possible. However, really mean reviews are just unnecessary. I'm human and I make mistakes. If you don't like someone's topic or where the story is going, then just stop reading and move on. Spending more than 2 minutes on a review/writing more than 5 or so sentences tells me you are a bully and have no life. Thank you for checking out my profile...now get to reading! Enjoy! | |||||||
