Okay, STOP whatever it is you are doing!

I have just stumbled across two completely amazing and shockingly neglected fics that you simply MUST read.

Don't even dare call yourself a Naruto Fan Fic Enthusiast unless you do!

And for those of you who call yourselves Kakashi Fans...Shame on you for not reading these fics sooner. I am actually ashamed of myself for not discovering them before tonight.

So spank me...

My only excuse? Well I fell into the trap of only reading fics with huge amounts of reviews. But seriously, you have to read these two fics by Orodruin.

Both are extremely well written. They will pull you right into the story. Although, I have to warn you, The Meaning of Death will leave you heart broken.

I am not exaggerating at all here. That fic had me bawling and I rarely cry. The other fic is called The Greatest Adventures of Hatake Kakashi. It's a fun story and it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

So there you have it. My opinion. So go forth fellow fic fans, and make sure you read The Meaning of Death and The Greatest Adventures of Hatake Kakashi by Orodruin! They are both listed in my favorites so all you have to do is click the link.

Oh, and listen try listening to "Leave No Man Behind" by Hans Zimmer while you read them. I had it streaming on imeem while I did and I found it really set the mood. Plus, BONUS...it is appropriately named. Also, just in case you weren't aware, it is from the film, Black Hawk Down. That's kind of appropriate for a fic about military personnel, ne?

Fellow fanfic enthusiasts,

Today is indeed a dark day. Today I have learned a sad yet valuable lesson. The old saying, the best way to catch flies is with honey, is indeed true. The honey in this case was the much loved and ever anticipated Minato/Naruto reunion fic. The fly, well myself of course. I simply can't resist them. But, something happened that I never dreamed would occur. A fic centered on Minato and Naruto kicked my ass and left me to cry and whine on my profile.

Incest?

Seriously? o.O

It was like starting a KakaSaku fic only to find out that the fic was actually centered on Kakashi chasing after Sakura's evil twin brother who used to be on Kakashi's ANBU squad until he abandoned the village. Yet somehow Kakashi can't let go of his desire to passionately screw Sakura's evil older brother... despite the fact that he could never be disloyal to his village. So, he uses the underage Sakura (who also happens to be his student) to fulfill his carnal desires for her pink haired brother Sachimo.

At this point I should be saying something like, "The above mentioned plot is my property. Please do not borrow without my permission."

But the truth is that there is no way in Hell I would ever write a story about that so go ahead and use it. If I stumble across it one day I promise all I will do is laugh until I piss myself.

The point is that I'm mentally scarred (more than usual) and I'm not sure if I will ever be able to read Minato/Naruto without getting images of Daddy/Son love out of my head.

Lesson? ALWAYS read the story descriptions.

Lesson learned? HELL YES!

Dear Fellow FanFic Enthusiasts,

Something just occured to me.

I tend to only put completed stories that I adore on my favorite stories list.

Seriously, the few that are on there and still "in-progress" were only added because they are insanely good.

As in, "HOLY CRAP WHY HAVEN'T YOU BEEN PUBLISHED YET?" good.

But I have literally hundreds on my story alert list. All of them are worth reading, even the ones that are obviously never going to be finished. Sadly, I've only seen two stories that updated after a year+ hiatus. Fortunately, most of them are still long enough to sink your teeth into if you give them a chance; despite being incomplete. Actually, I may go back through the list myself. I added some of this stuff so long ago that I don't recall everything that's on the list. But hey, it's like fashion right?
