Information regarding the supposed "hiatus" of Purple Skies!

I am one of those authors who hates it when people put a story on their favorites list, and even subscribe to it, but do not leave a review. That really gets on my nerves! I mean, if you have enough time to read it, surely you had enough time to review it right? Not getting reviews really upsets me for some reason. I don't think some of my readers want me to go into a depression and not ever write anything again. That's kind of how I'm getting. I'm not writing another chapter of Purple Skies until I get more reviews! I've only gotten two, and I was expecting a bit more than that. Maybe I'm asking for too much, but what else do you expect? How would you like it if you tried to write something to satisfy other people, but you were never shown this satisfaction? Come on people!

Welp, I have now closed that poll about whether or not the sequel to A Form of Death should be contain action, or just plot. The results were pretty close, so I decided to ask one of my very, very trusted advisers, and a great mind on this site, and she agrees with me:
More action.
It would not make much sense for the first one to contain action and the second just fluff. A contrast, and not in the greatest way. It might even be an epic fail.
I don't write THAT good.
So, the sequel to Death will contain action, and might even be longer than the first. I'm thinking about starting that pretty soon maybe by December. I know that doesn't sound soon, but I have a lot of other writing projects to finish of progress with, and I'm finding it really hard to keep up with all of them. I'm so very sorry!
I know there are some of you who wanted it to be just fluff, and if the idea of an action-filled sequel upsets you, then I am very sorry. I would like it if you still read it, but if you don't then I guess that is okay too.
Hope I don't miss TOO many people...

Oh, and I'm sorry about changing the title so abruptly. After I started writing chapter 6, I thought that this would be so much better.

I have decided to re-write this fic, because I am not satisfied with this version of it. I have not decided on a new title, but I will keep this version up, for pleasurable reading, or comparison, or both. So, it might take a while, it might not. A Form of Death

Summary:
While on a delivery, Cloud is paid to kill two vampires. They are mates and kill children to feed off of them so that they will be strong. Here's the process: at night, they will strike the town (Wutai), and take about two or three children at a time. During the day, they feed off of them to get stronger and more powerful, because that's their most vulnerable time of day. Pretty bad, huh? Well, when Cloud goes to Wutai to solve the problem, he gives Yuffie a visit, seeing that she is hurt. Come to find out, Yuffie tried to solve it herself, but got wounded in the process, and now Vincent is watching her. In vain, Cloud only successfully kills one of the mates and the other gives Tifa a very violent visit one night, trying to kill her, almost causing her to lose an internal organ in the torso area (no, I'm not telling which one). Of course, this is a misunderstanding. This vampiress went to seek revenge, thinking Tifa was Cloud's mate (see where this is going?) So, Tifa just about dies for nothing, gets mad at Cloud for saying nothing, and what happens? Well . . . Cloud just might have to battle this crazy vamp once again - only this time, Tifa wants to help. But will he let her? Especially at the expense of her life?...or mortality...?

7/27/08 mark: This story has hit the 5000 hit mark as of today. I am very proud of this fic, and I am very thankful to anyone who has had the time and patience to sit through the entire thing. I am also grateful to those who even gave it a glance. That means I griped your attention, even for a little while.

This fic, unlike a lot of others, will be an AU!! Yay AU!!
Okay, so, Cloud, Tifa, and Vincent, live in the small town of Nibelheim. They are best friends, and it's impossible for them to get any closer. As normal teenagers, they have their share of problems. Cloud's mother has a boyfriend he doesn't like, and they argue quite often. Vincent's parents are drunks, who also argue, and beat on him as well. Tifa's father's only main focus is his job. He barely acknowledges her, but is also very protective of her. The only time he isn't working, is when Tifa is sick, as she is for some time. There seems to be something that she's keeping from her closest friends, but they have no sense of suspicion whatsoever. And, to help with all their problems, they decided to form a band to keep them at bay.

Because I lack the ability to write songs(poems in general), I shall be using songs from FlyLeaf and Evanescence. Of course, the songs used in the fic belong to those prior mentioned affiliates. Tifa doesn't know when, nor does she think it will happen. Then one day, this new psychiatrist, who has just graduated from college the year before and who has been studying her case, comes to the asylum, seeking to help Tifa out. At first she is skeptical, since the treatment he is giving her is a bit unusual, and at one point turns unethical. Of course, that is her fault. Every time something goes wrong, she thinks it's her fault. The only difference this time is that she has the assistance of his jealous girlfriend to aid her in making this go worse than they have to. In the end, it all comes down to whether or not Tifa can finally cope with what she has and just except herself for who is she. It might also help if she gets the hot psychiatrist too.

He was getting beat up by two other kids. Luckily she saved him before any other damage could have been done. But now, it's all as if it were for nothing. The fighting for the kids, and she's also finally gotten that teaching job she always wanted. Here is where she met the little girl that would soon be staying with her, because her father wants her to live in a stable home and he didn't think he could give that to her. And now, because of the accident, she's in the hospital, and there's a slim chance of her making it out of there alive. Yes, she is healthy, but the doctors say that her health almost has no factor in her case. She tries so hard to see the good side of things, but what go does it do? It's not making her any better.
Then she met him, and she got just a little dash of hope.

It is hard to believe that these two are best friends seeing as they barely talk to each other. Cloud left their small town years ago because he was bored with it. There was nothing for him there. He would surely find work in the big city, and he did. Cloud ended up opening his own delivery service, which was easier to do in a city that had many connections than a small town that many did not hear about. His best friend Tifa he left behind, but they always kept in touch. That was until about three years ago, but he tried to learn to move on with this life, and that wasn't as hard as he thought it was going to be. Then, just six months before this story takes place, he finally hears from her again, and they talk at least once a week. But even these weekly phone calls are scarce, seeing as they only last five minutes at the most. He wants to spend more time with her, but she's always busy being the journalist that she is. So, he tells her one day that he really needs to talk to her. Luckily, she can make time because she needs to get some things off of her mind too. And in this she shares what she thinks is great news, and it spoils his own. Too bad Tifa is getting herself caught up in something that she soon learns she probably won't be able to get out of.
I am very well aware that this story is already up. It is only in this section because there isn't much up to account for, just a brief introduction. This story is going on hiatus for the time being. I do not plan on putting anything else, except for maybe a second chapter, for a long time, so please bare with me. This is only because I have not really developed the story as much as I thought I had, and I need time to think on that some more.

Now, it's been at least a year after Underground was eliminated, and they both decide that they want a baby. But there are new difficulties to face now, and more decisions to make, they have nothing to do with the planet.

It didn't help that their evening ended up being a clumsy one, but maybe that was for the better seeing how it turned out.

Of course, if it weren't for the kids, maybe Cloud wouldn't have asked Tifa the most important question of all, and no it is not "Can you please hide me in your closet?"
