First a bit of personal information.

I go by Nerys. Yes, I got the name from Star Trek Deep Space Nine. No, I do not have a Starfleet uniform in my closet. I am not some strange Trekk... Stop waving with my "resistance is futile" T-shirt!! (huffs at friend and puts holy T-shirt back in her wardrobe ... on the hanger!).

I am a female, who is way too old to be writing and reading fanfiction and enjoying it, a lot. I am so old I am having problems remembering my real age or mathematically calculating it from the year I was born. ;)

Born, raised and still lives in the Netherlands. Yes, where we STILL have a Harry Potter impersonator as Prime Minister. No, he is not Harry in character, alas. I am thinking Fudge all the way.

Tom Riddle/Lord Voldemort - Hermione Granger shipper ONLY (It's pointless to try to convert me to another ship; I tried; I heaved; I returned back to The Source; me very faithful You-Know-What).

I love ALL of JKR's books. Though, I wouldn't be Dutch if I didn't love to nag about certain things in them. No, Ron - Hermione is not particularly one of those things. Yes, I do agree that 19 years of them staying together is a bit... well... Next!

I love music, movies, books, certain television series, and last but not least MY DOGS (always save the best for last; XD).

As for the Twilight books, go to Cleolinda's livejournal pages and read her hilarious comments. Brilliant. http://cleolinda.livejournal.com/2008/08/02 Her chapter-to-chapter comments made me ROFLMAO, really.

So, before I get mauled by angry Twihards, I did love reading the books. I just love making fun of them even more. Eh, I can't help it if Meyer is providing the world with endless ammunition to laugh out loud in the first place. ;p

Speaking of vampires, the reason I completely fell of the HP-grid for awhile can be traced back to one Tom-Hermione fanfic that was a crossover with the Anita Blake series. Yes, Chelle was the cause of my utter addiction to Jean-Claude, Asher, Richard, Jason, Nathaniel, Edward and the bitch who has them all, Anita. God, I love her and her men. Utterly delightful pastime reading with all those wonderfully disfunctional characters. You gotta love to hate them. Oh, should Laurell K. Hamilton kill Anita or have her break up with her men, I have first dips on Asher and Jean-Claude. No, that's not being creedy. That's being practical; you know you can't split those two up. ;)

The Apprentice

July 14th 2009; YAY! The return of the LV-HG muse, after being absent for almost a year. Sorry y'all. I wrote chapter 3 in two days on my old, way too heavy laptop.

July 16th; chappie 4 is up. Can't keep up typing with the pace the muse is supplying me with scenes.

July 20th; there you go. A chapter without an evil cliffhanger. must not make a habit of it ;) Tomorrow my new laptop will arrive. YAY! Internet here I come!

July 24th; So, I know I promised some of you a meeting between Hermione and Voldemort in this chapter, but it will happen in the next one - Dumbledore took a lot of my time with his chat to Li Mei. ;) Anyway, I hope you will all enjoy the update I wrote on my brand-new state of the art laptop. Does a little dance.

July 27th; Well, hope this was fast enough for y'all. Chapter 7 is here. The muse keeps doing wonders for the apprentice at the moment.

July 28th; Oh what the hell, I have finished it. Here is chapter 8. The next one will be a bit longer. I actually have real life responsibilities to attend to, the horror. ;-)

August 1st; well, that was faster than expected beforehand. LOL. Chapter 9 is now ready.

August 2nd; I am on a roll, such an easy chapter to write. Hooray! Hope y'all like it.

August 4th; chapter 11 will be online ... right now. Well, today. ;-)

August 6th; sorry, y'all, the next chapter will be a longer wait. I am currently writing the additional smut to chapter five of The Apprentice for AFFnet, which is long overdo in its wait. I will leave a link here when I am done writing and posting said smutty chapter. ;-) Let me know what you think of the difference, and whether or not you think these bits should be posted here too. Or if I should just leave the censored, cleaner version here and the Adult + version there. Thanks in advance.

August 9th; still unable to reply to reviews, send PMs, and upload the next chapter; I hope FFnet will fix this error soon.

August 10th till 14th; every day a new chapter. Pats herself on the shoulder for a job well done. Now we just have to wait until chapter 16 is finished. XD

August 19th; nearly done with chapter 16 for AFFnet. The version that’s going to come here is more troublesome. I still am stuck on how to get certain things across in a suitable manner for this site.

August 25th; chapter 17 is done, still need to do the AFFversion of it (which will be chapter 18 there, because the dream is chapter 17 on AFFnet).

September 1th; had some really bad personal news. I am still writing, but it's not going as fast as before, because my mind is finding it hard to focus on Tom and Hermione. Just wanted to let you all know why there is a delay in updates.

September 4th; done with chapter 18 here.

September 19th; working hard on the AFFnet chapters of this story now. I updated chapter 18 there a couple of days ago. I plan to update to AFFnet-chapter 19 today, and then, move to AFFnet chapter 20, so the story is back up-to-speed on both sites (ready for Hermione to go to the Weaselbees - sniggers). AFFchapter 18 and 19 have additional scenes; well, from chapter 16 and on, the story differentiates on AFFNet. So, I won't give the links anymore, since that would turn into an orderly sequence of chapter-links, spamming my profile unnecessarily.

October 3th; chapter 19 for FFnet is done!

October 15th; chapter 20 for AFFnet is done, working on chapter 21 for AFFnet now.

October 21th; chapter 21 for AFFnet is done. Now I am at the same spot in the story on both sites. YAY!

November 9th; working on chapter 20 for FFnet. It's coming along slowly; sorry y'all. But I am still running low on free writing time.

5 April '09: I decided this one-shot will probably be a kind of prologue for another Tom-Hermione fic. So, yes, there will be more chapters. When, however, depends on the ever illustrious muse.

October 21th; Liz kindly offered to beta this story. I have worked out a couple of scenes already. Yummy Tom. Yeah, I need to get my mind out of smutcity. sniggers.

19 January '09: So Serpie and I are having problems being free simultaneously to write. We still have two chapters to do of this story and ... somehow, someday, sometime, somewhere we will find a way! (stops singing because people are looking at her funny). XD
