Author has written 14 stories for Phantasy Star, Metal Gear, Shining Force, StarTrek: The Original Series, Suikoden, and Harry Potter. Fanfiction has been an outlet for the longest time when I have writer's block. It's easier, somehow, to pick up somebody else's characters and do something fun with them, to step away from the seriousness of original writing and do something that's nice and indulgent. I love to write yaoi. I suppose I have a fetish for the forbidden, but also there are just some characters out there that just belong together, far more than they ever did with anybody else they were ever romantically paired with in the series at hand. I only write couples where I can see that kind of subtext. I don't randomly pair people together. Drawing those threads of subtext together is rewarding when you see a deep relationship come to the surface. You can't just throw two people together. There has to be something first. My OTP is Snake and Otacon from Metal Gear Solid. That's a pairing I'll come back to time and time again, many years after I have played those games. Aside from yaoi, I also like writing for fandoms that don't get an awful lot of attention, like classic Phantasy Star or Shining Force.
