Author has written 18 stories for Roswell, Dark Angel, Smallville, X-Men: The Movie, Stargate: Atlantis, Veronica Mars, Full Metal Panic, Ouran High School Host Club, Bleach, Dollhouse, and Claymore. Updated March 14 2009 I didn't have anything here for a long time, because I like to be mysterious... (grin) I'll say that I'm Australian, so almost everything I watch these days is hired or illegal. I got so sick of everything I enjoy being cancelled after 13 eps that 80percent of my tv-watching is now anime, although live-action's making a comeback. I'm also well over the age of consent (the fic I don't post here will tell you that!). The best place to get my recent and current fic is my lj - just click on the homepage link on my author profile. Aside from the occasional quiz-mania and tv/movie review, it's just for my fic and the occasional fanmix, and EVERYTHING I write goes up there. All my NC-17 and R rated stuff can be found there - including all the Heroes fic for 50-alts and the Full Metal Panic! stuff I'm writing for 30_kisses and 30_lemons (even though I let my claims lapse, I'll keep doing them. Eventually). However, I'll probably wind up putting all my up-to-M-rated fic for FMP! here, as there's not enough of it out there in cyberspace. Same with all my other fandoms, actually - most of my writing fandoms are small, as I generally like to have an impact when I write. If there's already lots of fic for a certain fandom, I tend to get so lost in reading fic that I never get around to writing any - unless it's a rare pairing, like Hitsugaya/Matsumoto in Bleach, or Peter/Claire in Heroes. I'm one of those odd people who believe in obeying FF.net's rules on ratings, so no, I won't be putting any of my sexually explicit stories on here. However, nearly all my current and future smut can be found on mediaminer (now including Heroes, though it's not up to date there). You can do a search for 'TaleWeaver', or my profile should be at http:// www.mediaminer.org/ fanfic/ src.php/ u/ 151756 (just take out the spaces). But I'm thinking about stretching that rule, as I have about three fics in outline and progress that would come under R, in fandoms that really only have much of a presence here on ff.net (yes, I am just as much a review 'ho as the next authour!). Current TV (in no particular order): Heroes, Demons, BBC's Merlin, Dollhouse, The Middleman, True Blood. Past TV (i n p o): Buffy and Angel, Firefly, Forever Knight, Dead like me, Dead Last, Farscape, Jake 2.0, Blade: the series, X-men: Evolution, Stargate (SG-1 and Atlantis), Dresden Files, Veronica Mars, Blood Ties, Supernatural, Kim Possible, Doctor Who/Torchwood Anime (i n p o): Full Metal Panic! (totally captured my heart, still my number one!), Ghost Hunt, Gokusen (both jdorama and anime), Princess Tutu, Nodame Cantabile (manga, anime AND live action), Earl and Fairy, xxxHOLIC, Vampire Knight, Gunslinger Girl, Bleach, Kuroshitsuji, Devil May Cry, Claymore, Black Lagoon, Fruits Basket, Cowboy Bebop (my very first anime!), Neon Genesis Evangelion, Witch Hunter Robin, Gundam Wing, Read Or Die, Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Ouran High School Host Club. Books: Dresden Files, Tamora Pierce, Young Wizards (for about 20 years now!), Alex Rider adventures, Amanda Quick/Jayne Ann Krentz, JD Robb, Mercedes Lackey, the Haunted Bookshop series, Agatha Christie, Ranger's Apprentice, Death on Demand series, Stephanie Plum, Sister Fidelma mysteries, and the Sisters of the Otherworld series by Yasmine Galenorn (I was disappointed that she stopped writing cozies, but I'm finding her fantasy stuff so incredibly fascinating that I can't really blame her). I only get into the mood for Terry Pratchett once in a while, but when I do I absolutely devour him - same with Piers Anthony. Comics: Ruse, Hack/Slash; as for X-men, I find the comics too confusing to keep track of - I prefer the movies and Evolution. I've also been heavily increasing my manga collection, including Fruits Basket, Claymore, Vampire Knight and Her Majesty's Dog. Not to mention everything ever published for FMP! and Ghost Hunt. (When the heck is Tokyopop going to release the rest of the FMP novels??) CD's - Sarah McLachlan will always be my absolute fave. But I'm currently cycling between Nightwish, Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil, and various anime themes. I also have a long-running love of 1950's and 60's rock 'n' roll, especially Buddy Holly. I'm also trying to get my hands on everything recorded by Trading Yesterday - so if you have it and are willing to share, message me! | |||||||||||
