Hi,
My name is Lucy, from the little island of Malta in the Mediterranean. For those of you that are not sure where that is, find Italy on your map of the world, and go south. Malta is the tiny little postage stamp just below Sicily.
Originally from Wales, I have only recently started writing - encouraged by others from the David Caruso Forum. I have been a David Caruso fan since the NYPD days, and after he left the show thought that I would probably never see him on screen again, especially after moving from the UK. I was delighted to see him back on screen again in 2003 (Malta is 2 seasons behind) and I have been hooked ever since, hence my first attempts at writing fan-fic are based on CSI: Miami.
As for me personally, I teach English to foreign students part-time, and also have a part-time riding school. In the past, I did my basic training with the Royal Air Force, though that career did not work out for me, and worked as a volunteer with the Air Training Corps, and SARA, a cliff and boat rescue team. Hence I tend to include that sort of knowledge in my stories.
My husband works in mainland Europe, driving lorries, and we have an 8 year old daughter Emanuella. Besides my horses, which take up most of my spare time, I like to read (Tolkien, Anne McCaffery, Feist, and Tom Clancy) and design and stitch my own cross stitch patterns.
