Well, it was time for a profile overhaul, cuz it's been the same format for almost a year and if you're not bored of it, I am.
Most importantly, I have decided to do away with story update notes. Frankly, I'm sick and tired of saying the same things over and over, especially the part where I promise to update by a given day or time, and then never do it. It's not that I'm a liar, it's just that life and my muse are both stubborn little byotches that tend to do whatever they like irregardless of my plans, and things never quite seem to work out the way I think they're going to. So, from here on out I will write what I like, when I want to, and post when I'm happy. Simple as that. I will have some story notes up, for anything I think needs to be mentioned about any of my fics (since I still refuse to use A/N's) but that's it.
If you have questions or comments, review or PM me - I LUUUUVE feeback from readers, and have developed some incomparable friendships from those of you brave enough to emerge from anonymity to drop me a line, and I value that sort of interaction far more than the one-sided updates tend to be. I also LOVE to read/review, but please note that I really only read Bleach fanfics. It's nothing personal, but without a background knowledge of whatever story it draws from, I can't properly review a fanfic on content, characterization, etc... I know, it's a weird hang-up, but well, it's mine. Please try to understand! :)
So, a little bit about me and then some story comments below, and that's about it. I am ancient, as things go in ffnet world, being at the very beginning of my third decade. I can, however, assure you that I have a Bleach obsession as healthy as any 13-year-old fangirl, and just adore everything about Kubo Tite's world. I've seen most of the anime (I took a break for a while to gather a backlog of unseen eps, and am now hurrying to catch up!) AND I have read every single manga, so absolutely expect spoilers in almost everything I write. It's just baseline knowledge to me, and I can't be responsible of tipping anything early, sorry.
I live in California, in the most beautiful place in the world, and absolutely adore my job. I'm also newly married to quite possibly the most perfect man alive, and aside from being moderately broke, am happier than any one person has a right to be. Don't hate, I'm not gloating; like everyone else, I've had my fair share of rough road, and the respite from misery is welcomed and almost uncomfortable, but I'm managing. :)
That's all the pertinent info on me, really. I only recently started writing, and am completely floored by the positive reception I've had overall. Really, you guys are very kind and generous, considering how many spelling errors and typos I let slip through, and it's your hits and reviews that keep me writing. I also have a plushy obsession that borders on psychotic...and if ANYone knows where I can buy a Kenpachi or Yoruichi plushie, I will love you forever!! :P

Currently going through a repost; I wrote this a while ago but hated the pacing, and it's undergoing a rehaul. If it looks familiar, that's why, but stay tuned for more new material - next to BaA, this is my personal favorite thing I'm writing, and I hope you enjoy it.
Mad props to my beta Philyra for coming up with such an awesome shikai for Yoruichi - the griffin was inspired enough, but the idea to make him sound like Byakuya was a stroke of genious, imho! It's also been brought to my attention that the timelines are muddy, which is totally true, so i'm going to change all the funny present-day snippets to Omakes to help clear that up. As for the historical timelines...well, they're going to stay a bit fuzzy cuz we don't know much specifically until the Pendulum arc, so I'm guessing a lot and hoping I don't eventually run off canon. Enjoy!

This one is kind of a shamelessly indulgent story that I'm doing for fun, and stems from a sort-of smut-challenge from Luinuial and a plea from my beta Philyra to write some unapologetic romance-novelesque fluff. Expect the rating to change to M once this thing seriously gets going. It will be as fluffy, smutty and smexy as I can make it...which isn't saying much, since my muse is appearantly a total prude. Anyway, it's definitely T-M; assume nothing less. :)

BLOOD AND ASHES First off, for those of you interested in the SPOILERS mentioned in the Blood and Ashes summary...well, I write assuming that everyone is as obsessed with Bleach as I am, and has read all the manga as well as seen all the episodes (more than once) and is well-versed in both. If you aren't, then here are the specifics - in chapter 7 there's a vague reference to Episode 58 (Manga Ch 169), and ch 9 has a direct spoiler for the same. In chapter 8 there's direct spoilers for Episode 47 (Manga Ch 129) and Episode 48 (Manga Ch 132). Finally, Ch 10 has a direct quote from Episode 56 (Manga Ch 156). (Further NOTE: My spoilers err towards the manga, since they were penned by Kubo Tite himself and are therefore more accurate, imho, but I'll use whichever suits the story and flows best into rhythm of the scene - with the exception of Gin's eye color. I went with garnet from the anime over the teal of the manga, for visual effect and to differentiate from Toushirou.) So there you have it, and I'm sorry if I ruined anything for you.
