Author has written 5 stories for Storm Hawks, Inuyasha, and Harry Potter. My personal quote-"Don't take life seriously, no one gets out alive anyway" My name, Cinderpool is from an awesome book called Warriors. Ruler of Chaos is added for kicks. My pic is from an awesome game called Catz 5 You raise kitties and you can dress them up, play with them, ect. There is also Dogz 5 and Oddballz made in a similar style. I change my picture often, but right now it's Ginny from Harry Potter. I name my catz after my favorite series' characters. "I,Cinderpool-Accio Chaos have challenged myself! I can't stand them I find them so immoral and disgusting. However, if you like the books, as long as you don't wish any violent acts upon me, I'm OK with 'ya. Obama- I'M A REPUBLICAN!! I'M A RACIST!! I HAVE NO LIFE!! Oh contrary. I am a liberal-leaning Independent. I believe strongly in Honesty and Justice (they deserve to be capitalized). And yes, I am quite alive. Hypocrisy- Need I say more? +~~~~My Reviewing Ways~~~~+ Defiantly my favorite part of FF.net.I fully mean to brag here, but I have received from many authors that they love my reviews. I take great delight in this. I won't change my reviewing style, but I will tell you this- I may, and probably do come off as harsh, but my goal is to help people become better writers. I say the strengths and weaknesses of the piece. What throws people off though is the fact that I may spend two paragraphs on a continuance error, while I briefly mention your gorgeous descriptions. This means in no way that the error outweighs your descriptions, generally the contrary. I spend more time on the faults, so there will be less faults next time. So please, don't be down about my critique, be glad that I thought it was good enough to bother to review. Stars- Something new I'm going to start. Here is what i do 1 Star - No effort whatsoever. DONT FLLAME MEH stories fall under this category. You post it up to boost up your precious ego. There is not any entertainment or literary value at all. 2 Star - The writer wrought... umm...well... not a very good story. However effort is shown as well as a want to improve rather than just getting their egos stroked. I really like writing critiques for these stories as there's some fun people to help out most of the time. Or maybe I just like getting my own ego pumped. Haha, that's most certainly part of it. Whatever it may be, I enjoy helping and honestly try my best. 3 Star - Mediocre. The author can write better than Stephanie Meyer. It has good spelling and grammar as well as a decent plot. There are not any outrageous Mary Sues (unless of course its a parody). However, there is something lacking in the story. Maybe it's just a cookie-cutter cliche, or it was written at 5 in the morning/ no real emotion in it. 4 Star - Very Good. Quite a decent amount of effort was put in. However there is at least one large flaw that keeps the writer from having a grand story. It's written well, however there is just something not quite right. The best of the best cliches may fall here, however, it's mostly filled with original ideas. 5 Star - All the dramatic edges have been toned down and the smooth rounded corners ramped up. Of course there may be the occasional slip up with grammar or continuance error. However, that is generally rare and I don't have much to critique here. Of course the idea must be unique and portrayed well. I will never rate an author because we can all easily do a 5 star if we put the time and effort in it as well as having a comfortable idea. It changes so dramatically if they have something they know how to do. I will never rate an entire multi-chap story because things change. This is a new thing with the rating to me. +~~~~Everything Harry Potter~~~~+ Chances are that if you're looking at this right now you've found my profile through HP related things. I love Harry Potter so much, it's been an inspiration for me ever since I was a child, while I did not live my rude Uncle and Aunt that hated everything about me, I can relate quite a bit to Harry, and he's been myfriend for a long time, even though deep in my heart I know he does not, or will ever exist. Most Interesting Character to me: Please not, while this characters certainly interest me, they are not necessarily my personal favorites Peter Favorite Characters: Harry Ships that PWN: Harry/Hermoine Least Favorite Characters: Vernon Now I shall start to rant! (mini) In a story the prized thing to me is the characters. They are the lifeline of the story, more important that plot in my opinion. So when you mess up the characters in the story I will tell you, don't worry. Actually scratch that, I don't even finish reading the chapter when I see too much OCCness. It just drives me insane when Hermoine is in a love triangle between Draco and Snape in under two chapters. That would never happen dear. Sytherin-71 points Hufflepuff-71 points Ravenclaw- 58 points Hufflepuff Said Hufflepuff, "I'll teach the lot, and treat them just the same." Hufflepuff students are friendly, fair-minded, modest, and hard-working. A well-known member was Cedric Diggory, who represented Hogwarts in the most recent Triwizard Tournament Gryffindor: 76 Take the most scientific Harry Potter I've taken this quiz quite a few times, and I've either gotten Hufflepuff or Gryffindor every time (and on most House quizzes). +~~~~Everything Anime and Cartoons~~~~+ I once was obsessed with anime. I still like it, but I will not waste my days watching it all the time anymore. The Japanese do make beautiful art and some of the male characters do look quite handsome. winkwink. I tend to shy away from Shoujo manga and animes, most of them are the same repetitive crap "Omg! Theres this pretty girl and her family hats er!! Omg the guys she likes hat er 2!! Except for thus HAWT guy guy that she doesn't realizes loves her", it's not all like that, but you could make a short list of common plots in Shoujo. Sort of like Vampire novels in America... Don't get me wrong, there are a few good ones. Like Skip Beat, or Ouran High School Host Club, but they are mostly known for their comedy. Though Ouran is fairly original with it's portrayal of the heroin. I tend to lean more towards the more serious ones. There are a quite a few that have a good blend of romance and non-fluff storyline. Inuyahsa for example is a wonderful series. I remember staying up late just to watch it. Then they out it on at five freaking AM. There are other like that. To be continued, but later because Pooly is lazy. I'm INTO THEATRE & ART, so I MUST be a homosexual. | |||||||||||||
