HIGH SCHOOL FICS: Words cannot describe how much I hate this genre of fanfiction. The point of Pokémon, Naruto etc is not

romance but the general plot of the show. Now I can understand say a fic where Satoshi needs to go to school after becoming Pokémon

master but at least acknowledge the existence of the source material.

To quote Delta Knight, if they don't exist as actual, real organisms that actively participate in and contribute to the development of characters and the plot as a whole, then the story does not qualify as a Pokefic, and might as well have any and all elements of Pokemon taken out, and have the story placed on Fictionpress.
