Author has written 12 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Count of Monte Cristo, Office, Labyrinth, Indiana Jones, and RENT.

Well, all I can say is that I'm a Christian, fun-loving girl who has a completed Phantom fiction, three completed Office fictions, a completed Count of Monte Cristo fiction, a completed Labyrinth fiction, two completed RENT fictions and a RENT poem, two completed Indiana Jones fictions with another said fanfiction in progress. I'm pretty much all over the map, aren't I? -winkwink-

Anyway, I have devoted hours and hours of rewatching movies/episodes just to make sure that a character's persona (actions, movements, etc.) are accurate. I don't want to disappoint my readers or myself, so I refuse to let myself make someone too out of character. Plus, I like rewatching movies and episodes of The Office, so it's no skin off my nose to do it. :-)

I hope to further expand my writing know-how and get some feedback from anyone who is willing to take the time to read these stories, good or bad. Thanks in advance to those who do.

Proud RENT RPG-er!

For countless hours I have RPed as Mark and his now-wife Elissa (yay!) at the RENT Roleplay forum here with a bunch of cool people: FlowerMasters as Roger, Jene (abbreviated because it's really long and French) as Mimi, SPEEEAK as Collins, Isha as Angel, and LexiRENT97/HPfan626andfuturewriter as Maureen, rainbowstripeblonde as Joanne. We're still looking out for a Benny and two other OCs, so come join! It's so much fun and you'll learn about: Maureen's TWO middle names, Hot Pocket Guy, how Mark was in a two-year dry spell and can knit, Roger's weakness for marshmallows and cake, Mimi's dancing habits and how she slides backwards in old habits, little darling McKayla Musetta Marquez-Davis, how Angel's sister's husband is in a gang, and how Collins played Batman naked on top of the NYU science hall. Elissa has a brother named Oliver, Mimi's junkie sister Kitty is messed up, and Mrs. Davis is a hateful person. It's awesome and the amazing quirks will keep you entertained for hours.
11/25/09: Mark and Elissa are officially married! Mazel Tov!
(PS-Cookies for whoever figures out where I got the name "Elissa" from. Seriously...it's a really obscure nod to something, but virtual cookies for whoever gets it!)

My favorite movie/TV show quotes:

A Very Potter Musical
"It's gonna be totally awesome!"

Dumbledore: Ten points to Dumbledore!

Ron: Woah! That is a boss Zeffron poster!...Wow! Every wizard should have a sword like this, not these stupid drumsticks (tosses away wand), forget about it!

Malfoy: I want Hermione Granger! And a rocket ship...

Voldemort: Wash that turban! It tickles my nose.
Quirrel: Yes, my Dark King!
Voldermort:(sighs)Enough with the Dark King stuff...I watch you wipe your butt daily; you can call me Voldemort. We're there...we've reached that point.

Ron(chewing on a big Hershey bar):This is horrible!
Harry: Yeah, I know, look at this: Harry Potter vs. Voldemort, the fight of the century-
Ron: No, it's not that! It's Hermione. It's just like...I can't get her out of my head and everytime I look at her I get these pains in my chest, and I just know it's her fault, that BITCH! I'm just not cut out for this...
Harry: Yeah I know what you mean. It's like trying to save the world and the whole world is against you-
Ron: No, no, no, no, no! This isn't about you. Why does every conversation have to turn into Potter time? NO NO I'M MISERABLE! (points at chocolate bar)...So I hope you and Voldemort live happily ever after because me, I will never be happy again. So I'm just gonna go curl up in my sock drawer and sleep for days.

Voldemort, to Draco: Why do you need a rocket ship? What business do you have on Mars?
Malfoy: Well, let's just say...Pigfarts, Pigfarts, here I come. Pigfarts, Pigfarts, yum yum yum!

Malfoy: Look at this! It's Rocketship Potter! Starkid Potter! Moonshoes Potter!

Hermione: Drop the attitude, Harry Potter! You're acting like Garfield on a Monday.
Harry:(looks incredibly offended)

Indiana Jones Saga
Indiana Jones: Snakes...why did it have to be snakes?
Sallah: Asps. Very dangerous. -taps Indy- You go first.

Indy: I'm going after that truck.
Sallah: How?
Indy: I don't know. I'm making this up as I go along.

Willie: Oh my God, is he(Indy) nuts?!
Short Round: He's not nuts...he's crazy!

Marion: About Mutt...
Indy: He's a good kid Marion, and you should get off his back about school!
Marion: He's your son!
Indy:...What?
Marion: Henry Jones the Third.
Indy: My son?...Why the hell didn't you make him finish school?!

Henry Senior: This is intolerable!

And let's not forget: "TOP...men."

X-Men
Wolverine: Hey! It's me!
Cyclops: Prove it.
Wolverine:...You're a dick.
Cyclops:...Ok.

Cyclops: Professor, Logan will endanger the mission, and-
Logan: Hey, I'm not the one who gave the train station a new roof, pal.
Cyclops: No, you were the one who stabbed Rogue in the chest.
Logan: Hey, why don't take you little mission and stick it up your-
Ororo: Senator Kelly is dead!

Professor: Logan, where are you going?
Logan: I'm gonna find her(Rogue).
Ororo: How?
Logan: The traditional way: look!

Labyrinth
Jareth: I ask for so little...just let me rule you. Just fear me, love me, do as I say and I will be your slave!

Worm: Cor...if she'd kept going that way, she'd would've gone straight to that castle!

Phantom of the Opera
Phantom: A toad, Madame? Perhaps it is you who are the toad!

Carlotta: And I 'ate my 'at!

RENT
Mark: How do you document real life, when real life's getting more like fiction each day?

Mark: There are times when we're dirt broke, hungry, and freezing, and I ask myself, why the hell am I still living here?...And then they call. And I remember.

Collins: Merry Christmas, bitches!

Roger: The narration crackles and pops with incendiary wit...

NO DAY BUT TODAY...VIVA LA VIE BOHEME!

The Office
Jim: I'd like to clamp Michael's face in a George Foreman grill.

Jim: I miss Dwight. Congratulations, universe. You win.

Dwight: I can raise and lower my cholesterol at will.
Pam: Why would you raise your cholesterol?
Dwight: So I could lower it.

Angela: I know that patience and loyalty are good and virtuous traits...but sometimes I just think you need to grow a pair.

Jan: You're hardly my first!
Michael: GAAAAH! THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!

Dwight: (to the tune of We Didn't Start the Fire) Joe McCarthy, Richard Nixon, Studebaker, television, North Korea, South Korea, Marilyn Monroe, Ryan started the fire!!

Jim: What has two thumbs and hates Todd Packer? (points to himself) This guy!

Dwight: (to the tune of Deck the Halls) Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la KA-CHING!

Jim: (dressed like Dwight) Question: What kind of bear is best?
Dwight: That’s a ridiculous question…
Jim: False. Black bear.
Dwight: That’s debatable, there are basically two schools of thought…
Jim: Fact: Bears eat beets. Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.
Dwight: Bears do not…what is going on?! What are you doing?!

...I have far too many favorite quotes of The Office, so let's move on...

Fan fiction I read:

1. The Office
2. X-Men
3. Batman Begins/The Dark Knight
4. Newsies
5. Phantom of the Opera
6. Labyrinth
7. Indiana Jones
8. Pirates of the Caribbean
9. RENT

The "ships" I support...

1. Wolverine/OC - Yes, I know he loves Jean, but she loves Scott, and that's not really going to change. So he definitely deserves someone else.
2. Jim/Pam - They're just so awesome together, it's a true office romance.
3. Jack/OC - He doesn't love Elizabeth. She doesn't love him. That kiss in the second film meant nothing except that it was a means to an end. Therefore, he needs another person, and she needs Will.
4. Will/Elizabeth - Despite her whining and his backhandedness, the two were pretty much made for each other. They get married for goodness sake! The fics where after a few years she gives up on Will is really out of character for Elizabeth. If she wasn't so strong-willed, I don't think Will would've picked her.
5. Erik/OC - Christine feared and pitied Erik, but never really loved him. She left with Raoul, and would never come back to Erik. So in my opinion Erik just needs another girl...but this time not attempt to possess her.
6. Jareth/Sarah - Who doesn't long for these two to be together? Oh, she refused him, but everyone deserves a second chance, right?
7. Jareth/OC - If it's well-written, I will read it. It's certainly not the dominent pairing, but it can be done (after all, my story's Jareth/OC. Please don't eat me.)
8. Bruce Wayne/Batman/OC- Well, Rachel wouldn't take him for everything he was and everything he had to be, so Bruce definitely needs someone different.
9. Mark/OC- He seems like such an awkward sweetheart. Totally deserves someone other than Maureen.

The "ships" I don't particularly like...

1. Wolverine/Rogue - Bleh, no. From the movie perspective, they have a father/daughter sort of relationship. This pairing is just so weird to me.
2. Wolverine/Storm - I just don't think they're good for each other. Just my opinion.
3. Jack/Elizabeth - Oh man, you've got to be kidding me. They hardly have a friendship at times; why would they hook up behind Will's back?
4. Some Will/OC - If it's well written, then I'm open to it. If it tends toward the fangirl fantasy "like-OMG-Will-I-like-totally-love-you-let's-get-married" end, then no.
5. Erik/Christine - It didn't work out the first time around, so why would it the second time? Besides, Christine is in love with Raoul.
6. Erik/Meg or Madame Giry - Madame was his benefactoress, Meg is her daughter. I think Erik would be quite presumptive to explore a further relationship with either.
7. Mark/Maureen- Though it's technically canon, I don't like it. They are...really a mismatched pair, and it can be kind of hard to read sometimes.

Now onto the stories I'm working on/ have finished:

Turning Away- Roger was always looking for the next fix, the next hit, even after April's death. However, he soon realized that he needed to turn away from his addiction and start living life again. A one-shot, rated T.

Reflecting- A poem inspired by "Will I?", the mental reflection of how one's life is turning out, and wondering how things may turn out in the future. Labeled as Mark, but can be applied to pretty much any character. Rated K+.

The Guardian's Last Crusade- The quest for the Holy Grail...it's called to hundreds of people, and now it calls to Indiana Jones. But he will not be going alone; he'll need his Guardian with him to keep him alive. Jo is back, ready to lend a hand in the second greatest adventure of her lifetime. How many hidden evils will she have to face? Who's hidden agendas will she have to deal with? It's a race against time, and Indy and Jo must be the winners...there is no prize, after all, for second place. Rated T for safety. In progress.

Guardian Issues- Things didn't just end after finding the Lost Ark. There is no break from guardianship. Jo is back to tell about the adventures between the adventures with Indiana Jones, and the lessons learned from it all. A filler story between The Guardian of Indiana Jones and The Guardian's Last Crusade. Rated T for occasional swearing and possible violence. Completed.

The Guardian of Indiana Jones- For some reason, Jo Kinsley has been chosen by divine providence to carry out one duty: protect the dashing Indiana Jones. Trouble is, she's a girl from the 21st century. What will she have to do to make sure the story of Indiana Jones goes as planned? And what will she have to face to keep them both alive? Set during Raiders of the Lost Ark. Rated T for bloody action sequences and swearing. Now complete!

Free- A one shot about a more strongly-willed Mark's feelings and actions during/immediately after "Take Me or Leave Me". Film-verse. Rated T for some swearing.

What's to Get, Pam?- Pam innocently mentions that she doesn't understand Roy anymore, and Jim, finally sick of the never-ending dance of infatuation, tells her exactly what he thinks. Oneshot set during the 27 second scene in S2, "Booze Cruise". Rated T for language.

The New Receptionist- (S5) With Pam going to art school, a position opens at our favorite paper company. Read what happens when Ruby Stone becomes the receptionist, and see how she deals with the trials and tribulations of working at Dunder Mifflin-Scranton. Rated T mostly for swearing. Complete...at least until Pam and Jim's wedding, and then there will be a sequel!

True Magic- A young girl who has grown up too fast no longer believes in magic. Or, at least she didn't before watching the film, Labyrinth. On a whim, she wishes to experience the magic of the Underground. So what will happen when Jareth brings her to the Labyrinth? Will it be a dream or a nightmare? A Jareth/OC story, now completed (rated T)!

Unexpected- You never know who will stand by you when you’ve been deserted by everyone else...a Pam/Dwight Office one-shot friendship fic (rated K+).

My Ring, My Past, My Edmond- A Count of Monte Cristo movieverse one-shot concerning the thoughts of Mercedes after her encounter with the Count of Monte Cristo, and how she still loves her Edmond after sixteen years. Rated T for certain situations.

With Me Always- Marie is a girl longing for a family and wondering what her place in the world is. Just wait and see what happens when she befriends and love the Opera Ghost, Erik...kinda fluffy in some parts, but I personally liked the result. Officially COMPLETED (rated T)!
