Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. I'm a 29-year old teacher of English (as a foreign language) and History at a Grammar School. As you might have guessed, I'm a great Snape-Hermione fan - Ron is a nice guy, but do you really think that he and Hermione fit on an intellectual level? No way! Thus I'm really grateful for the great amount of original and well-written Fanfiction found here :-). I prefer stories in which Hermione is a bit older. Being a teacher myself, I find fics in which she has a relationship with Snape while she's still a pupil a bit worrying (although there are some really well written stories out there).
