13th July 2010 - A message I hoped I wouldn't have to post!
All my currently active stories are on an indefinite hiatus. I've had a huge case of writer's block, and so to combat this I'm throwing myself into beta work to get back into the swing of writing. For anyone interested, I've been sent the first 20 or so chapters of What Grace Has Given Me, and over time I hope to edit these and re-post the story as I know it was quite well liked. The writing will hopefully be a little more mature and I want to change a few slip-ups in continuity, so that's something to look out for!
Apologies in so many ways, and thank you to all that have reviewed and left me inspirational comments. You have no idea how much they have helped me to get back into writing again.

22nd June 2009 - HI! I'm BAAAACK!
Those who asked about why I was MIA were informed of it, and were really supportive, so thank you everyone :). Right, as most of you will have noticed, there is an update! So please read and review; I need to get back into the swing of writing so some comments would be good to kick-start me. That's the good news. The bad news, however, is that this morning I had to reset my computer to it's factory settings, which was heartbreaking as I lost EVERYTHING on my hard-drive. I nearly had chapter 11 finished as well, which is massively annoying, but I can re-write it whilst it's fresh in my mind. It also means that I've lost all of WGHGM for those who followed, so I won't be able to re-post it unless anyone saved it to their computer, on the off chance. If you did, PLEASE get in touch with me.

11th February 2009 - In other words: DON'T KILL ME!!
Right, now that's out of the way; the explanation. As most of my readers know, I'm a uni student and so that means, sadly, a lot more work than I'd care for, no money, and lots of exams. It's these exams that have been getting in my way but they're over now, so I'm hoping for an update on TWTB by the end of the week. I've got a bit of a case of writer's block so bear with me, it might not be my best, and I've still got a few plot niggles to iron out. In other news, I'm doing a school placement once/twice a week where I help to teach high-school kids music, and I'm trying to lose weight as I've put on shiiiite loads of weight whilst being at uni. Not great. lots of walking for meeee...

I have a multitude of nicknames but for the most part, people call me Lexi. I'm 23 years young, and I live in sunny ol' England!

I live with my fiancé Paul in our own lovely house! In real life, I work for a company that provide customer service to a number of online Bingo and Casino sites. IT'S FUN! :D

I'm now officially a graduate from Keele University, with a 2:1 in English Literature and Music. It has been the absolute time of my life but I really am ready for the new challenges facing me in the real world :)

Due to a lot of stuff that is partially to do with getting physically injured, partially to do with family, but mainly to do with the fact that I currently need to get my house finished, I'm hanging up my writing gloves (yes, I have writing gloves. They're fingerless and keep my hands warm as they're prone to becoming slabs of ice) for a while to sort everything it out! Hopefully, come around Christmas time, I'll have some time whilst I try to figure out what to do with my life to write again :) I have lots of ideas and can't wait to get my muse back!

CURRENT STORY

"These Words That Bind" - A re-write of the fanfic "Dear Diary" that I wrote years ago under the pen name StAlex. A Remus/Hermione time-turner fic, with Horcruxes, Voldemort and the character death I predicted shortly after HBP was released. It is going into the AU category for that reason - I'm not playing with the plot all that much; I'm writing it as I saw it back then, except hopefully it will be a little more mature. Hopefully! Please enjoy. YES, it is on hiatus, but see many previous explanations for why above.

PLEASE NOTE! When I return to this story, it will be FULLY completed and it will just be a case of posting on to site. I promise you, you will not have to wait for me to write each chapter :)
