20/10 - As mentioned further down in my profile (if you bother to read it), I have had an idea for a Grey's Anatomy fanfiction buzzing around in my head for a while. And I've finally decided to start it, under the guise of doing NaNoWriMo (50,000 words all written in November). I'm hopefully going to hit my 50 and start posting it on here in December. I'm an 18 year-old student who is immensely skilled at procrastinating. My work tends to be left until the last minute, which normally works out quite well for me, and I instead spend my time on my laptop. Essays of mine tend to be produced less than 24 hours before they are due in, which means I normally panic horrifically about suddenly realising how much work I have due in. That probably should change when I start university in September though. Philosophy essays are not exactly easy.

One of the words that could be used to describe me is most definitely ship-whore. I've never thought about exactly how many couples I ship, but in a moment of boredom I jotted them all down. There were more than 30 ships! 30! I of course have my favourites, but I seem to continuously pick up different ships. My main ones, those that battle to be my OTP, are: Sawyer/Kate (LOST), Meredith/Derek (Grey's Anatomy), James/Lily (Harry Potter) and Rory/Logan (Gilmore Girls). And I'm now adding Charlotte/Dorian (Trinity) to that.

If forced to pick my OTP though it would be Sawyer/Kate (Skate). I've been shipping them since 2005 (I watched S1 of LOST right before S2 began so I didn't really ship at that point but I remember loving 'Whatever the case may be'). It was that moment in Collision where Eko appears carrying Sawyer. The look on Kate's face just made me fall in love with them. I have my problems with them and there's been points where I've doubted if one should be with the other. But I always love them, even when they make me angry. Season 5 could have weakened my love for them but I shrieked my head off when he looked at her in the finale (Jason and Helen can testify to that). So Skate are my OTP and I'm rooting for them to be the end-game of LOST. I know a lot of people love Jack and Kate but I've never got their relationship. Like Matthew Fox said "I never found their relationship credible."

One of my main problems is that I tend to really be into something and then I either keep loving it or I just drop it. LOST has successfully kept me hooked for 5 years and is keeping me right until the very end. Whereas Torchwood, which I loved with the best of them, has lost me since killing off Tosh and Owen. So that means I may start a fanfiction but I cannot swear that I will continue it. I have a strong bank of Torchwood fanfictions and thankfully a lot were one shots. However 'Happily Ever After' will probably never be finished. That is partly due to my lost interest in TW and also because I cringe at the OOC characters when I read it. I do really appreciate everyone who read it and reviewed. If you do want to know how it ends then just message me.

I love a lot of characters - that much is obvious from all my ships. But I have finally found one that I can really relate to. Meredith Grey from Grey's Anatomy is pretty much the character I have been searching for. She's flawed, clearly, and also very neurotic. I love her because she's dark and twisty and is not a people person. Far too many characters are too perfect but she isn't. Plus she has huge daddy issues which I can relate to so very well. It's kind of like they looked at my relationship with my dad and used it for her character. And I know people criticise her for being self-centered but I'm like that as well so, for me, it makes her character stronger. So I apologise for anything bad I said about Grey's Anatomy because it's pretty much one of my favourite shows now. Apparently I can no longer judge TV shows as I hated both Grey's and LOST to begin with yet they are my favourite shows. And if I'd never discovered Grey's then I would never have discovered Meredith herself.

I have been dying for Veronica Mars to come to the UK and it has finally arrived. Of course I couldn't be patient and watch it daily, no I cracked at episode 7 and watched it all in one go. I was up until 6:20 the following morning. When it started I knew that people out there shipped Veronica and Logan. But as I was watching I kept asking 'how can anyone want Veronica with him?' That question kept repeating itself and I was waiting for that moment of enlightenment but it wasn't coming. Sure I felt sympathy for Logan when I realised his dad beat him, but that was it. However, half way through series 1, I fell in love with Veronica/Logan. This is an example of me picking up a ship. Suddenly I was rooting for them and I love them. And Logan Echolls has to be one of the best written characters on television. His character development in the first season was perfect. You started out hating him and then gradually you grew to love him without even realising it. For anyone out there who isn't watching Veronica Mars - watch it!

Sorry - This was a piece of English homework I did where we had free reign. It came to be the night before it was due in and it turned out just how I wanted it to.

I Do - A oneshot I wrote late on a Saturday night - being a huge Fred/Angie fan, I of course had to write their wedding.

Destined To Be - This is a new one that I've just started. I wrote it kind of as a replacement to TDAJ, and it will focus on all six of the group, rather than just Angelina. Be warned that it does contain some darker issues like Abuse and Alcoholism (oh and just because Lee smokes in it doesn't mean I promote smoking - I hate it).

Gone Midnight - Part of my Valentine's Day challenge. I've been dying to write something Owen/Tosh for the past couple of weeks and then I got this idea.

Five Minutes To Midnight - Part of my Valentine's Day Challenge. I wanted to give Fred and Angie a bit of a different Valentine's Day since I imagine them as a couple with everything not going right. Not my best piece of writing, but I quite like it and I've had the idea for a while. Oh and any Torchwood people out there - there's a little crossover in it (If one of the Torchwood characters was magical)

Snowed In - This was a rather random idea that popped into my head when I was flicking through some photos I took when it snowed. This fic looks more at the team themselves and who they are as people, rather than their alien tech and all the aliens though go out and fight. I guess it's looking at the actual people who are saving the world - FINISHED (2/03) - OVER 100 REVIEWS! - sequel now up.

Just A Few Words - A little drabble on the scene where Owen is holding The Pulse. It's what was going through Tosh's head when he talks to her. It was one of my favourite scenes and so I couldn't resist writing something on it.

24 Hours - It's always Ianto getting kidnapped so I wanted to try with it being someone else. I'm a bit stuck on this story but I shall update it eventually- THIS HAS NOW BEEN WRITTEN UNDER THE TITLE 'TAKEN'

Happily Ever After? - I'm putting this story on hiatus for two reasons. Firstly I've lost my interest in TW so I'm finding it hard to write. Secondly after re-watching Owen and Tosh's deaths today, I realised how perfect (albeit tragic) their relationship was. I wasn't really happy with the direction of the fic and now looking back, I really don't like where Owen and Tosh are in their relationship. I may attempt a re-write or a continuation in the future, but for now I'm leaving it. PM me if you would like to know how I planned for it to end.

I have an idea buzzing in my head for my first Grey's Anatomy fic but I'm not going to be posting it for a while because I need to really research it before hand. And this is one that I want to actually be a good fic. But I got the idea from a newspaper headline and it just won't leave me alone.
