Erk. I’ve been writing fanfics all this time, and didn’t even think to give myself a profile. Oh well, better late than never I suppose!

My name’s Martin. I’m a 23 year old Brit with a penchant for movies. I also love anime (though I don’t watch nearly as much of it as I’d like to – mostly the mainstream stuff), books, and writing. Currently learning to drive, although I think I’m still quite a ways off from taking my test.

As you can probably tell by reading my fics, I’m rather fond of Yu-Gi-Oh. It's mylatest obsession.I got into the show a while after they stopped airing new episodes, so obviously I’m a latecomer to the fandom. Actually, truth be told, I don’t even know if I’m technically a part of the fandom yet. I’ve still not seen every episode, and I don’t know any other Yu-Gi-Oh fans... But I like the show, and that should be enough. Right?

Yugi’s my favourite character – there’s just something so loveable about that kid. I also like Téa, Joey, Rex Raptor, Weevil Underwood... Heck, I dig all the characters! I do wish there’d be a little less dueling, and a little more character development/story sometimes. But it’s all good.

Movies: Star Wars, Dark City, Stop Making Sense, The Iron Giant, Spirited Away.

TV: Mystery Science Theatre 3000, Battlestar Galactica, Deep Space Nine.

When reading my fanfics, you might get the impression that I’m some kind of dark, morbid, emo-ish person. At least, the last two fics I’ve worked on have definitely felt that way, I think. But pleeease don’t make that assumption. I’m all about the fun, in reality. My number one priority in life is to make people laugh and have a good time, even at my own expense. I guess my writing just refuses to reflect that, for whatever reason.
