Hey, fellow followers of the fandom! Sakura Katana here. Before you check out my fics (I know you were planning to, right??) here's some info about me on- and off-line.

Myself as a Human Being

I won't put much here except essential facts. I'm a high school girl who loves comics and cartoons, soccer, manga and anime, playing piano, choir (sopranos rule the earth!), good books (and fan fics of course), and writing of pretty much any kind, even some essays. I'm a Christian, which is the reason I keep my fics rated T or under and don't have swearing (except in really old stuff I wrote before I made the no-swearing-pledge and in direct quotes from other sources), homosexuality, or explicit content in my writing.

Also, I'm proud to say that my little brother (younger, not shorter) has become a fan fiction writer! He's got a great imagination and tons of potential, so please R&R his stuff. I know he'd really appreciate it. He's The Hash Slinging Slasher.

Teen Titans

Pairings (Cartoon): Slaven, RobStar, BBTerra, Cybee, RaveX, Flinx. (Comics) Red Devil/Ravager (Eddie/Rose), Nightwing/Starfire (Dick/Kori), BBRae (Gar/Raven), Superboy/Wonder Girl (Conner/Cassie), Blue Beetle/Traci 13 (Jamie/Traci).

I mostly write for the Teen Titans anime/cartoon show. I like putting characters from the comics into the show and modifying them a bit to fit the show's unique style. I'll read fics that have pairings I don't like on the side, but not if those pairings are a main focus of the story. This doesn't only apply to TT, but flaming is a bad idea. If you can't say something nice, don't settle for something stupid. If you can't stand a pairing, just don't read it. Yes, it really is that simple.

Heroes

Pairings: Chiro, Pemma, Mocah, Syelle (Gabrielle), Maphne, some Sylaire, Tracy/Nathan, Niki/DL, Arthur/Angela. I like Paire AU, when they are not related.

This is a show where I mostly stick to canon pairings, but love them in AU. The writers seem to think that if you have superpowers, you are required to have a tragic love life. Which sometimes rocks and sometimes makes me want to kill them... or Samuel.

Death Note

Pairings: No yaoi ever. I think there's a definite possibility that L had a crush on Misa, and by the end of the series Light was probably attached to Misa. Like you would get attached to a cute, adoring, yippie dog who chewed your furniture for five years. But I really don't have any Death Note pairings that I'm a fan of.

Light and L are equally my favorite characters (and they're equally attractive, in my opinion). A lot of the time I didn't know who I wanted to win. I started liking Mello after I got over the shock that he is, in fact, male. Misa can be annoying, but there's a lot more to her than meets the eye, and she's actually pretty cool. The taskforce from the NPA rocks. The only two characters I really dislike are Near and Takada.

I prefer the manga to the anime because 1) Light's death is way, way better in it, 2) It's just superior like that and is the real offical canon, 3) "I'll take a potato chip... AND EAT IT!" Seriously, who thought that was a good idea? That scene was good in the manga!

However, I still like the anime. It has one of the best English dubs out there (which answers the sub-or-dub question with a dub, most of the time), even though Raito can be a tad overdramatic in non-dramatic scenes.

Batman

Pairings: Batcat (Bruce/Selina), Joker/Harley Quinn.

Don't have much to say about Bat fics I'll read... the pairings say it all, I suppose. I read for The Batman, Batman: The Animated Series, Batman (comics), and Batman Begins/The Dark Knight.

BRUCE WAYNE IS THE ONE TRUE BATMAN. End of discussion.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

Pairings: Zutara, Sukka, Yueka. I'll read a lot of pairings, just so you know. Also, I'm not a crazy Zutarian, like "They were in love in the show! It was implied! Really!" Okay, no. I like Zutara in AU stuff, just so that's all cleared up. I mostly just require a good plot for ATLA fics.

The Phantom of the Opera

Pairing: Erik and Christine forever!

Note to people who have only seen the movie: go check out the book by Gaston Leroux or Susan Kay. You're only on the very tip of the Phantom iceberg!

Star Trek

Pairings: Spock/Uhura (ST:2009), Riker/Troy insomuch as I don't not like it.

I've seen all the movies and some episodes of The Original Series, Next Generation, and Enterprise.
