All fics are dedicated to Bethany and Sangmo and Amelia, as she's finally given in (...she knows what this means). And Gillian because she's awesome, too.

Favourite TV Shows: Torchwood (my most recent love... obsession... and only when Ianto's around...), The X-Files, Bones, Crossing Jordan, Alias, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Law&Order: SVU, Silent Witness, Wire in the Blood (I have all of the books, too, and they're awesome!), Queer as Folk (sure, it's partly an excuse to show naked men, but it's got a very, very gripping story-line), Boston Legal (so funny it gives you stitches; so fantastically clever), and the original Power Rangers. Almost all of these shows have ended, for Hell's sake. I wish they'd put something good on already.

Favourite Books/Authors: Tony Hill series (Val Mcdermid; brilliant, magnificent, gripping...leaves you wanting more), Temperance Brennan series (Kathy Reichs; ditto), anything and everything by Graeme Base, all the Anne Rice books I've read (the pre-born-again ones), The Arrival (Shaun Tan; this book has no words, but it's one of the best I've ever read), Confederacy of Dunces (unbelievably hilarious) and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Oh my God. Warning: Do not read in a public place. I get strange looks when I crack up on the bus...).

Favourite Movies: The Colour Purple (Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah don't seem like a very likely pair, but they're brilliant! I guarantee you will all cry more than you ever have, it's that good), anything with Will Ferrell (he's a funny, funny man), Schindler's List (unbelievably heart-wrenching), Indiana Jones (at least the original ones... don't know about this new one, I'll have to see it), Disney's Anastasia (I can watch this over, and over again-it never get's boring), Moulin Rouge (ditto), Paris, Je T'aime (do collections of short-films count? Because these ones are really good!), Beetlejuice (hehe), Anything by Tim Burton (anything. He's so fantastic!), The original three Star Wars (um, hello, the new ones give everything away! What fun are the old three if you know Leia and Luke are twins?! I pity the next generation...)

Favourite Music: Tom Waits (awesome, awesome), Tchaikovsky, Queen, Billy Joel, Foreigner, Meatloaf, Pink Floyd (musical revolutionaries), Jeff Buckley (...if all men could sing like this...), Rachmanninov, Nina Simone, Michael Jackson (his own genre of cool), Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young (awesome individually; freaking amazing together), Jackson Browne, Elvis Presley (can't go past the classics, right?) Don McLean (amazing songwriter. Amazing), Elton John (a musical revolutionary with an ambiguous sexuality...what could be better?), K.D. Lang (one of the best things to come out of Canada besides Neil Young, Leonard Cohen and Mrs. Hardy).

Likes: Reading, drawing, cooking, soccer (playing and watching), writing, school, jazz saxophone, coffee and bagels (preferably together), French films, jasmine flower, good picture books (Graeme Base, Shaun Tan, etc.), Fox Mulder (enough said), good poetry, the sky, French class, peanut butter, making pictures in the clouds, milk, witty insults (seriously, people, if you want to insult someone, do it well), George Clooney, Biology, most music, coffee ice-cream, crossword puzzles, chocolate chip cookies, tea, sudoku, making lists. I'm easy to please.

Dislikes: Crossover stories (they are different shows for a reason, people!), running, bananas, the fact that once I start watching a foreign film, I pretty much have to watch the rest and they're all like six hours long, MySpace, graphic calculators, people who preach to me (if I wanted to be religious, I would be already, thank you), mandatory English books (though they're better now that I'm not in high school), our Prime Minister (what a dork), Fran, seafood, and sugar in coffee. Seemingly, I'm also easy to displease.

I am a freak perfectionist, so it may take a while for me to update. I keep asking my parents if I have OCD and they didn't tell me, but no; I don't have an excuse, I'm just nuts.

I have been- forcedagainstmywill -asked oh-so-politely by my dear friend Bethany to add here a '101 Things I Love About Bethany'. So I suppose I will. Maybe not quite so many. But I will anyway, creative license, I suppose. I have to use it sooner or later. We've agreed 50 is adequate.

Warning: This list will probably not make intuitive sense.

50+ Things I Love About Bethany

(in no particular order)

1. She likes fan fiction as much as I do.

2. She doesn't get dizzy easily when tredding very close to my head. You'd be surprised at how handy this is.

3. If you are not being funny (and you think you are) Bethany will tell you. Or at least get the message across.

4. She will insult Sangmo with me when she (Sangmo) is being stubborn.

5. Bethany is very flexible. Physically, I mean.

6. She laughed when Tony Fenton (our teacher) hit me with a discus.

7. Twilight. Enough said.

8. She introduced me to D.N.Angel.

9. And Firefly.

10. And Twilight, too, I believe.

11. She does French (at school, not actaully French people - get your minds out of the gutter).

12. She helped (or, rather, hepls) me with my French because I started half way through the the year. Not advisable, by the way.

13. Also, she introduced me to tea and lemon. Good stuff.

14. Very fun to debate with.

15. She's pretty. Doesn't seem relevant, but it is. In fact, whether she knows it or not, her prettiness intimidates Mary.

16. She thinks Gerard Way is ugly! Damned right.

17. Loves Edward Cullen (who doesn't?!).

18. She likes carrots, and lettuce.

19. Bethany is very good at eating your food. This is a good thing, yes.

20. She voted for me for SRC. Ew, that rhymes...

21. Thinks Mr. Moss is a funny little man.

22. Things make "intuitive sense" to her.

23. Therefore Betahny will explain maths. Sometimes. When I'm not being too stupid to understand.

24. She taught me Spoons.

25. Writes pretty fanfiction (and everything else).

26. She actually came to the Athletics Carnival, despite all better logical reason.

27. Has cool music.

28. Bethany is very nice.

29. She walks home with me. Sometimes...But the "sometimes" is normally my fault.

30. She is writing a "50 Things I Love About Giorgia" list.

31. She thinks Satoshi Hiwatari is hot.

32. She liked my SRC speech, and didn't scold me for writing it in two minutes prior to giving it.

33. She laughed at Mr. Moss when he decided the calculators were being "intuitive".

34. She helped me stay sane (and not drop all my IQ points) in math in year 8.

35. She disliked Mr. Chambers (teacher of said maths) as much as I did/do.

36. She rejoiced with me when he left. Probably because he is clinically insane/delusional.

37. As she states here, she will invent new food combinations with our food at lunch and recess.

38. Thinks Mr. Powell's jokes are funny.

39. She actually understands Mr. Powell's jokes.

40. Bethany will make really lame science-based jokes with Sangmo and I without feeling ashamed or embarrassed. This is not an easy task. Physics is Phun!

41. She has very nice eyebrows.

42. They bridge lovely eyes.

43. She's not afraid to give Jackson a piece of her mind, albeit silently. This is quite an achievement, as he is usually too stupid to understand even verbal insults.

44. She doesn't tease me about Ryan too much. Only enough to be funny.

45. Bethany does not have any bad qualities.

46. She walked home with me today.

47. She gave me chocolate after E&E Week.

48. She lets me proof-read her essays. When Sangmo's not there, anyway.

49. She lends me her (sister's) DVD's, often in exchange for my X-Files DVD's.

50. She loves me, too!

51. Book Club!

52. I can now rant to her about the X-Files, and Mulder's uber-hotness.

53. And all the sad things.

55. She got up and danced on her chair in the middle of French class. (With others, but still).

56. She fell off said chair about five seconds later.

57. Then she fell of another chair in Math the same day. Mr. Moss volunteered to get her work for her because of this.

58. She's doing Art with me this year, and saves me from the, "Geez, I mean, I like, so totally took drugs on the weekend!" from the rest of our class.

59. She laughed when Mr. Duharte (Art teacher) walked into our classroom this morning dressed like a ten-year-old.

60. She put up with dancing with Jackson without murdering him. Takes courage and self-control. Or some Valium.

61. She sees the importance of tea in daily life.

63. She dislikes Mr. Sansom (Human Biology teacher) as much as I do.

64. Bludges as much as I do in Human Science because of this.

65. She took photos for us in aforementioned class while we were cutting up sheep's brains.

66. Has considerable trouble saying the words 'integumentary' and 'millennium'.

67. We made a cubby house. It was rather uncomfortable, but lasted three movies.

50+ Things I Love About Sangmo:

(again, in no particular order)

1. She has been my friend for...12 years. Not an easy thing to do.

2. She can sketch very, very well.

3. Shel cares about what I wear and look like enough for the both of us, so I don't need to worry about it.

4. She is painfully honest.

5. She keeps me pop-culture updated. I'm a radio hermit, apparently.

6. She writes me letters for my birthdays!

7. She is pretty.

8. She puts up with my rambling(s).

9. She appreciates my lack of mathamatical concept recollection.

10. She is fun to do homework with. This is not easy.

11. She does debating with me.

12. She can spit tea (or apple juice) all over someone and still maintain her dignity.

13. She likes Foreigner.

14. She watches Bones...sometimes.

15. She plays Red Cordial with Bethany and I.

16. She will swoon over Jeff Buckley with me.

17. She has good taste in guys. As above. And below.

18. She, like Bethany and I and any sane person, dislikes Gerard Way.

19. She is really, really good at English!

20. She also does French with me.

21. She will quote Buffy with me.

22. After she was away from school for two weeks, she was nice to me for a whole day!

23. She gives very inclusive and full feedback on my stories (and everything else I do). Except that she hasn't read my stories in...about three months...

24. She always gives us (Bethany and I) some of her lunch. Which is always really nice.

25. She likes to draw.

26. She always follows me to the bathroom. Go figure.

27. She didn't kill the spider, only trapped it and tried to give it air. It escaped about five seconds later.

28. She made me lunch today. Food: The way to a girl's heart.

29. She likes (or tolerates) Ben. Not an easy thing for someone with absolutely no patience to do.

30. She got me into drinking tea. Good stuff.

31. She remembers how picky I am when it comes to food, and rather than assuming I like everything, assumes I like nothing.

32. It is easy to sit in comfortable silence with Sangmo.

33. She offers me coffee when I'm at her house, even though I don't think anyone in her house actually drinks it.

34. Sangmo has serious trouble actually keeping her tea in the mug. It's very amusing.

35. She invaded the school staff room and stole their tea with me. We got some weird looks that day...

36. Sangmo has a very good memory.

37. She is very smart. Handy considering how little attention we pay in class.

38. She bludges in class as much as I do. ('Bludge': colloq. v. to slack off; to avoid work; to shirk responsibilities, etc.) This is an Australian term.

39. Sangmo has a special 'insect-remover' piece of cardboard. Very organized...very OCD.

40. She has a very open mind when it comes to music.

41. She goes into town with me even when I'm only going for the Hell of it.

42. She does not sway in her convictions. Unless I'm really persuasive, and that doesn't happen all too often.

43. She'll always tell me when I'm being a push-over.

44. She mature for her age, but doesn't (always) look at me condescendingly when I'm doing something ridiculously childish.

45. She respects the fact that we have basically opposite ways of doing things like homework, etc. and doesn't force me to do things her way.

46. She has oddly perfect teeth.

47. She can cook very well.

48. Sangmo gives very good advice. Albeit a little useless, as I never take her advice, anyway. I'm too chicken.

49. She isn't afraid to give people a piece of her mind. A little scary sometimes, but some people just need to be put back in their place, you know? Such as myself...

50. She knows me very well.

52. She actually let Luis hug her today. Big step.

53. Has a wonderfully entertaining obsession with You-Know-Who of the not-Voldemort variety.

54. Continues to find Tuna entertaining.

55. Swore at Ben via text message, then got reprimanded (albeit mockingly) by our teacher.

56. Continues to provoke said teacher to be more entertaining, himself.

57. She is creating an army of grade seven debaters; as am I.

58. She sat through Science with a (really bad) relief teacher today.

50+ Things I Love About Amelia:

1. She actually joined FF.net, and is currently plotting the source of her first fic. Who's up for a Neighbours parody?

2. Puddle-Duck.

3. Founding Book Club members. (Need I say more?)

4. Book Sale day: possible one of the coldest this winter. There were songs involved because Amelia was there.

5. Her ability to manipulate our French teacher into letting her pretty much do the same work we do.

6. Her random outbursts while working with Ryan (in French). "This man is more fat, ugly and short than that man."

7. She made me a pretty rosette on Bastille Day.

8. Cupcakes!

9. She'll actually (willingly, no less) alow us to subject her to much X-Files DVD-watching.

10. She actually plays the 'First Clarinet' music in Band so she can sit next to me. It is very brave to sit that close to a flute...

11. If I offer tea, she will come to my house after school.

12. She knows a lot about music theory, which is very helpful.

13. Beause I suck at it.

14. Another Gilmore Girls fan! Yay!

15.She also watches Bones religiously.

16. She often tapes said shows for me because I have a horrid tendency to be AWOL at the time.

17. She actually still has her video player.

18. And actually still uses it.

20. Amelia has awesome hair.

21. She's read just about the entire Twilight series in like a week and a half.

22. She runs for enjoyment.

23. She sings along to Anastasia, too.

24. Math tutoring from Mrs. Schaap. I may not fail thanks to Amelia's genius idea!

25. She actually takes Business class.

26. And easily aces all the tests.

27. Except one where she had been swearing at Sofia at the bottom.

28. She, too, drinks coffee. Though maybe not quite so much.

29. She intends to wake me up at 3 AM on my birthday to say hello, because her flight leaves at like 5.

30. She is one of those freaky all-rounders who is awesome at every subject they do, though manages to be not-obnoxious about it like some others. (Lizzy).

31. She has the most awesome DVD collection.

32. Including the entire James Bond series.

33. There is a slight obsession with the Pink Panther, too.

34. She always folds her best hands in Poker.

35. She likes ABBA.

36. Amelia is very generous.

37. She alwas makes our birthdays awesome.

38. She and Bethany dropped by my house at 4 yesterday afternoon to go get icecream.

39. And chips.

40. And play Cheat.

41. She takes about three thousand photos a day.

42. We now have about a hundred photos of rosellas.

43. The galah was noot cool enough to be photographed.

44. She is going skiing tomorrow.

45. Amelia rambles fantastically.

47. She is very good with computers. Well, at least, a heck of a lot better than Bethany and I. Put together.

48. She bought Cecile a cool (spotty) going-away present.
