Author has written 10 stories for Doctor Who, House, M.D., and Harry Potter. Hello! I'm Cristina, more commonly referred to as 'Crissy' or 'Cristy' on the interwebs. I'm not very interesting. I'm a high school student who loves science, writing, reading, and pretty music. I'm welcome to online friends, so feel free to send me a message if you like my stories, or just if you'd like to talk about movies/books/tv shows that we have in common! I love books, movies and music (who doesn't, really?). I have very many fics based off songs, but none are actually song fics. My favorite books are Harry Potter (Order of The Pheonix being my favorite, though it was my least favorite of the movies), Pride and Prejudice, Gone With the Wind, I Capture and Castle, Hitchhiker's Guide, and many others. I really can't narrow my favorite books down. Movie-wise, I adore romantic comedies, as well as some dramatic movies. Sweeney Todd was simply spectacular, in my opinion. My all time favorite movie is The Tenth Kingdom, and probably always will be. I currently write fan fiction for Doctor Who, House and Harry Potter. I have written for the Tenth Kingdom in the past, but I removed most of those stories due to some major grammatical errors (most were one or two years old). I tend to disagree with canon couples (though not all) and write for couples I'd prefer to end up together (as horrible as that sounds). My favorite t10k character is Virginia Lewis, because she's completely sarcastic and funny. For Doctor Who, Sarah Jane Smith is the ultimate companion, in my opinion. This is both for new and old series. She's smart, funny, sarcastic, strong and all around a great character. My favorite House character is Allison Cameron, because she's simply fantastic. I constantly switch around my favorite Harry Potter character, not to mention I can never choose just one. The Marauders and Hermione Granger are my favorites right now. Couples I do like include Virginia/Wolf, House/Cameron, Chase/Cameron, Sarah/Doctor (any doctor), Draco/Hermione, Ron/Hermione, Ron/Pansy, Blaise/Ginny, Blaise/Luna and Harry/Ginny. My ultimate favorite HP couple is James/Lily, though Ron/Hermione and Draco/Hermione come a close second. I do not couple bash, but I can't be expected to write for couples I don't like. Please don't bash because you don't agree with my couple choice. I suppose, in the way of fanfiction, my dream is to be one of those people that ends up with 100+ reviews (dream, not goal). This is highly unlikely, seeing as how I mainly write one shots (I find it more fun to try to convey emotions in one shots than whole stories, where I usually fail). I've also found this dream to be pretty useless, seeing as how I've read some positively brilliant fanfiction with only 2 or 3 reviews, and some not so great fanfiction with over 200 reviews. Constructive criticism is always appreciated. Flames/flaming, however, are/is most definitely NOT. Not only does it not help the author (in this case, me), it's insulting, rude, and quite frankly makes you look like a ten year old. So... no flames, please. I reply to every review I get. If someone takes the time to read your story and give feedback, a thank you is usually in order. I really do love reviews, because they give me an idea of what my strong points are. So while I appreciate you reading my stories, I'd love it even more if you took the time (about 30 seconds - two minutes) to leave a review. Can I just say that the reviews I've gotten lately have been amazing. Some constructive, some simply flattering. Thank you all, I really appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback! Of course, I don't only write fanfiction. I read fanfiction. I read quite a lot of fanfiction, actually. And I try to review most of the fanfictions I read. I'm not good at leaving constructive critique unless I've spoken to the author before. If I do, I try never to be mean or unfair. What many people don't realize is that constructive reviews are not flames. If someone is taking the time to tell you what improvements can be made, that means a) they don't think your story's a goner and b) they like it enough to want it perfect (if that makes any sense at all). I do have pet peeves when it comes fan fiction, but I can usually put them aside if the story's well written. All stories are rated T and under for the time being. This is usually for minor language, or dark themes. I do not own nor am I affiliated with the makers of any movies/tv shows/music mentioned in my any of my fanfiction. I am simply a fan, and FF is fan work. (mentioned because I often forget disclaimers in my stories) | |||||||||
