The Resident Evil fan fiction story I am currently working on is the first Fan Fiction I have ever written. Leon and Ada couple is my favorite couple in the Resident Evil series. Although my story is much more about just the two of them, they are obviously the most favorable. All official RE characters who were still alive would appear in my story. Everyone gets their chance to show off. My story is plots based, packed with actions and romance. The reason the story starts with Ada is that ...well the title of the story explained it already. It is "the story continues" after RE4. I intend to use my imagination to continue the long story after the events of RE4. All story backgrounds are the official plots. There will be absolutely no conflict.

As for pairing. Seriously, Leon and Ada are the only couple ever shared a kiss in the entire RE series. Aside RE: Dead Aim of course which most people don't consider it as canon. I will still include Dead Aim characters. :) As a matter of fact, I know majority of those who disagree with this couple are the ones who either did not know the plots of RE2 and Separate Way, or have lack of understanding on complex things.

It is true that majority of Leon/Claire supporters are in fact Ada haters, no matter how some of them might try to deny it. Capcom did not design Ada to be hated. If you share the opposite view of what the designers wanted you to think, that only means you understood the plots wrong. We canon supporters (Ada/Leon) do not hate Claire. Claire is a cute character too, but she is absolutely not Leon's love interest.

All the people who try to pair Leon with others are really "force pairing". They have wrong understanding on the plots. There was absolutely nothing between Leon and Claire... not even one sided love, unless you were playing a different game. As for Ashley, for someone who called Leon a pervert to pretend to be a "good girl", she sure was a slut to ask for "overtime" as soon as they left the island... Leon rejected her right way. Then she immediately asked who Ada was. So you see? Couldn't you get the hint? Please don't be offended, but by being FANs you have to understand the official plots correctly first. I love to read Fan Fictions, but in my opinion Fan Fictions should not be conflict with the original. Fan Fictions should be the "extension" of the original story, not the "rewrite". Repeat, it was just my opinion. I do not have any problem with other pairings, but there should be a detailed progress on how that happened which does not conflict with the official plots. Don't just write something like they were the pair to begin with from the game plots if they were not the official pairing. :)

You have to understand the full plots before you make any judgement. It is Capcom's intention to make Ada/Leon a couple. If you disagree with this couple, it can only mean you misunderstood the plots one way or another.
