Hi there! My name is Kimberly, aka Smrtypantz! I'm here to tell you a little bit about myself. :)

Age: I'm 17, a senior in high school with some college classes and med school volunteer things off to the side :)

Gender: If you can't tell by my name, I'm a girl :)

Home: NYC, honestly the greatest city in the world (to me, at least ) Stop by during Christmas to see the tree at Rockefeller Center!

Nationality: Well, I'm half Caucasian and half Puerto Rican, but no one can tell I'm half Puerto Rican because I don't speak Spanish (apart from the occasional "hola~") and I'm very pale (my friend asked if I was an albino o_O But I have dark brown hair, so I really never saw the logic in her question...). As for the Caucasian side of me, I'm apparently 1/16th Russian :D (do not ask about the other 15/16ths, b/c I have no idea xD)

Interests

I like so many things! I love science, especially the research I'm doing right now on neurobiology. Yes, I know, I'm weird. I also enjoy: reading manga, sudoku (I've gotten hooked), listening to music, KNITTING, making movies (if you want, you can check out my youtube account that I share with my friend Nicole at the bottom of the page), playing piano (I'm not too good), and writing fanfiction (but of course~) :D

Music: I love Linkin Park, they're amazing. I happen to really like rock, alternative, punk, and metal. The thing that's really weird about me is that I love to listen to this music while I knit XD. I also enjoy music from other countries, especially songs when they're in German...idk why, because I'm not German at all xD (or who knows? remember those 15/16ths? xD)

Sports: HA! Yeah right. I'm the least athletic person I know. But I am good at gymnastics and I was born double-jointed, so I'm flexible :). I have also acquired a new love for badminton (b/c my friends and I roleplay while playing badminton xD)

Style: Do I have a style? Um, I like to wear the scarves and bracelets I knit :D

Ambition: To become a famous surgeon/researcher one day :) (as I write fanfiction off to the side :D)

Pertaining to my Fanfiction

Likes: I really enjoy DEATH NOTE and HETALIA! DN is one of the greatest mangas I've ever read, and Hetalia is the funniest! But, I also love Naruto and Avatar. However, I wouldn't expect too many fanfics about them.

Dislikes: Spiders! Oh wait...this has nothing to do with anything, does it? XD I personally don't dislike any manga or anime, but even if I did, I wouldn't write about it anyway. I don't write smut though! sorry :x

My Fanfics: What you can probably expect to see is a lot, A LOT, of Death Note and A LOT, A LOT, A LOT of Hetalia. I love stories dealing with friendship, humor, and angst (and romance~)

Favorite DN Characters/Pairings: I'm definitely love the Wammy boys the best! This includes Near, Mello, Matt, and L! But I plan to later write stories that perhaps pertain to other characters, like Misa or someone else. Death Note has so many characters with different personalities that there are an infinite amount of stories to write :) As for pairings, I really like MelloxNear and MattxMello ;

Favorite Hetalia Characters/Pairings: If I had to choose (as in, someone forced me to choose or else they would blow up the Earth), England would have to be my favorite character. I just loooove this sexy Brit! xDD My favorite pairing is USUK, of course~ I love America as well, and all the fanfictions that pertain to this couple :) France and Canada are also favorites of mine, but no one beats America and England in my book, so I would expect to see a lot of those two ; As for the other Hetalia characters...well, who DOESN'T love them all?? :D

I've got to say that I really love Naruto, Avatar, Twilight, and Harry Potter. But like I said, mostly Death Note and Hetalia fics will be found here. :)

Favorite Random Characters: I LOVE Jacob Black (but I don't crush on Edward, so Bella, you can have him :D), Harry Potter, Gaara, Neji, Sai, and Zuko.

9/13/08:Well, I'm finally done with Ready, Set, Action!, so I'm working on a new story that I believe will be called The New #1 or something along those lines XD

Plot Summary: Mello has just run away from the Wammy House while Near has left to take over his new position as L. All who's left is Matt...wait. Doesn't that mean he's #1 now?!

6/22/09: I honestly haven't been on for a while, but I'm currently writing a drabble-a-day fic for Arthur Kirkland called Arthur's Phases

10/16/09: Currently still working on Arthur's Phases. It is no longer a drabble-a-day. I am also currently posting Connection, which has already been completed and can be read on my livejournal account below. The New #1 is on hiatus.
