To put it in the most simple words possible, nothing you recognize is mine. Some of it is mine, obviously, since I wrote it, but it's all based on JKR's amazing books. Easy way to tell the difference between what is mine and what isn't? If you've read it before, anywhere, it's probably not mine. Unless its something like the color of Roxanne Weasley's eyes, in which case it's most likely a coincidence.
Also, while we're here, I'll mention my icon was not made by me, but found on Deviantart. If you want cool icons, that's the place.

About Me This is what you came for, yeah?

Me. 'Me' is a 13 year old girl of no name you will ever know, but for all purposes, call me Chris. I'm one of those people who have several different sides to them, that never cooperate, so really, if you talk to me one day and the next, you'll have talked to two different people. So I won't go on about my personality here, because it would be longer than OotP. Probably because I would ramble and ramble, and repeat myself to no end, but still. If you do want to find out what I'm like, for any reason, just PM me! I promise I don't bite, and I like new friends.

As for my obsessions/addictions. Harry Potter, (Jon) Bon Jovi, Harry Potter, Neopets, Harry Potter, Meepits (if you don't know what that is, its because you've never been on Neopets), Harry Potter, MSN, Harry Potter... And a few more things I can't think of.

As you might have noticed, I'm rather obsessed with Harry Potter. I write only HP fanfiction, though I have been known to read some His Dark Materials fanfiction. I write all different eras and characters, but I tend to stay away from centering around the trio, unless it's a fluffy Ron/Hermy oneshot. It's just that there's no 'scope for imagination' (in the words of Anne Shirley) in that era, and those characters. We've read seven books about them, why would you want to read some more? And for me, as a writer, it's a lot less interesting to work with characters that are already developed.

You might be able to tell, my stories are all about my characters. Good plots are wonderful, no doubt, but what really makes me tick are some deep characters with a unique personality. And so, naturally, I love writing out these kind of characters. Developing characters is for me molding myself into another person, expressing myself, my thoughts, my feelings. And when you're a complicated human (we all are) and you realise just how complicated you are, you'll want some sort of way to sort out your complications. Writing complicated characters is my way.

You've probably realise by now, I love writing. It's just totally my thing, you know? I'm not saying I'm a perfect writer, far from it. But words are my escape from the world, and the world is a place I often want to escape from. I'm the kind of person who loves a challenge, so my lifetime challenge shall be to become the best writer I can.

Similiarly, I love dancing. It's not as easy to escape into as words, but there's this amazing freedom in it, jumping and twirling and flying up in the air. There's always something you can improve, which is another challenge of mine. You may or may not know the thrill of succeeding in something you've been struggling with. I get that about once a week with ballet, and it's wonderful.
