I'm the type of weird boy that runs around with a bunch of ideas in his head, usually brought on by a variety of stuff... the biggest contributors being 'Grey's Anatomy' and emotional things that make me leak water from my eyes. I have recently become a SLASHER. No, not they type of SLASHER that slahes people... the type of SLASHER that runs around in different fandoms slashing all the same-sex characters that will probably never get together, but in my mind they do, because they make sense to yaoi-and-yuri lovers like me. And I do this because I can. But besides being a SLASHER I am also a FLUFFER which means I also, from time to time, write stories with cuddling and kissing and nice words and stuff that makes you feel fluffy inside. If you don't like feeling fluffy inside, then you will be pleased to know, that like many teenagers, I am also an ANGSTER, which means I run around making characters feel bad about themselves because of some problem or other... Oh, I am also a HUMORER and a TRAGIC CASE as I also write humor that usually parodies the fangirl's obsessions while sometimes making people cry with tragic tragedies... Ah, gah. Okay, I am all of those things, but then again, labels don't really apply to people that write about EVERYTHING, now do they? So I guess you can call me a WRITER with a dream of becoming a NOVELIST. So... labels don't really apply since I am in the whole writing thing because I love it, seriously... but hey, feel free to label... I don't mind... Yay, well, now that whoever wishes to label has their label(s)... Let me talk about myself. Um, well, I am a teenage boy that cannot stop writing and usually stays off AIM and MSN and any other social network as to not be disturbed... but then I get starved for my friends' contact so I end up getting on those aforementioned social networks and staying on, having long conversations with my best friends, whom I love very much, thank you. Um, well, like a teenager I enjoy the usual adolescent repertoire of things to do, which include (but are not limited to): being a bubbly little ditz, being an angsty little something-that-rhymes-with-'itch', hanging out with my friends, running around on social networks, drooling over hot people, and so on... As for my writing persona, Kuruk, I suppose I, like in real life, am a horrible procrastinator that quickly loses interest and flits around while you poor faithful readers are reduced to waiting for an update while I waste my time publishing oneshots or making new long-fics that will probably not be finished in a long while... But, eh, that's life. So... yeah. I guess that's it. But besides writing for myself, know that I also write for YOU. No, not you, the fangirl that wants their popular pairing!! YOU, faithful fan that reads and reviews everything I write without fail, especially those that have become my friends. Hearing your feedback and comments brighten my mood and make me a better writer, and truly, you guys are the ones that keep me here, so, I do love you all in that weird way someone can love someone they don't know... But yeah... you catch my drift... :) ~My Writing~ The Foreigner: My first ever fic. On hiatus. Will hopefully be revived soon... Where the Heart Is: On hiatus. Of Love and Faith: Went from totally alive to hiatus again. I'm starting to think that: long-fics plus Kuruk equals HIATUS! Elli's Anatomy: Is on hiatus. A Harvest Moon Christmas: Is on hiatus do to the time of year. XD Will be continued during the holiday season. Oh, Teenage Hopes: Hiatus, for now. Expect oneshots sporadically. Sometimes I publish a lot in one week, other times it takes me a few weeks. Oneshots are my way of getting the creative juices flowing and showing you guys that I'm still alive and kicking. Check under my favorite authors for a link to our profile. ~Beta~ Requests for Services: Open Currently Betaing: Mylinda Antoinette. ~Thoughts on my Fics~ The Foreigner- Okay, this was my first fic ever. I wrote this thinking that all the canon pairings were trash and that I could make everything better by mixing them up. Through my time here I've managed to reform that idea: I love the canon pairings, which is probably why I have trouble updating this now. Being my first attempt, I fused a lot of genres into one and the fic may seem a bit like a soap opera at times but I'm proud of it. :) Where the Heart Is- Surprisingly, this is my most popular fic to date. When I first wrote this I was still in the same kind of state when I wrote 'The Foreigner'. Mary is a victim in this fic to disastrous OOCness... a big mistake of my inexperience and once again, trying to add a bit of drama. I love Mary now, though... and Grary more so, so this fic is at times hard to write... Overall, I like my OCs Pat and Damian a lot and the Pat/Gray relationship is believable, in my opinion. It would be my favorite fic, had I not butchered Mary... :( I'm very proud of it nonetheless. Of Love and Faith- This is my favorite fic of them all. It tells the story of Gray before Harvest Moon: FoMT and MFoMT. I love writing from Gray's POV and I love the way my OC, Maggie, compliments his character in subtle yet chemistry-full ways. There's tragedy, romance, faith, angst and juicy background info for Gray in this. Overall, I love writing this. I'm so proud of this fic. :) I love it. Elli's Anatomy- XD This fic was a result of watching too much of 'Grey's Anatomy'. Nevertheless, I like it a lot. It has humor, romance, loads of angst, juicy love triangles and all the jazz you expect from watching the show. However, I plan to only use the show as a base for the writing... this story will take a different path. I like it a lot, like I said, I hope that shows. Oh, Teenage Hopes- :D I love this fic. It's tied with OLaF for my favorite fic. It's yaoi and I honestly like yaoi and yuri and all that jazz just as much as I do het. I like the whole unrequited love thing Isaac, the main character has for Hugh. I love Kate in this too, especially in later chapters. Not only that but my FAVORITE character, who I am considering pairing Isaac with instead of Hugh, is Shinji. I also love the whole love situation they're in: Isaac is in love with Hugh, who kinda likes Kate, who likes Isaac, who kinda likes Shinji too, who likes Isaac a lot but hates Hugh, who hates him back. Sounds like a soap opera, I know. XD ~Upcoming Fics~ (Note: Not all of these will be published...) The Tragic Characters Series- Not one fic, but a series for Harvest Moon. They're the stand-alone sequels of 'Of Love and Faith'. They tell the stories of characters like Manna, Muffy, Nami, Kai, Jamie and Joanna, just to name a few. The next one will be published when 'Of Love and Faith' is finished. Life on the D List- Harvest Moon: IoH. Parody.
