Right now, I'm ill (again).
And rather pissed.

So, after having a fever, I decided to come on the computer after what felt like forever to check my emails. I had some emails from family members, but they were mostly from FFN. Favourite Story and Favourite Author Alerts etc. and a nice amount of PMs. So, I get through some, with a smile on my face, as I am happy to know it's not only my school friends that are demanding if I'm alright, but some of you FFNers! I felt luuurrvvedd ;)

But then I came across a few PMs.
PMs that really pissed me off.

I may just be hormonal. But frankly, I am fed up of getting PMs, such as the below (I copied and pasted it, but I will keep the name anonymous) :

"hii. i really luv ur fanfics...especially my happy ending. but why havent you updated. it's nearly been a month. why have u not updated it when u updated the other one. why. update. and reply.."

I had to re-read it, to get it in my head when I first opened it. And I felt so angry, and so frustrated. To some it may sound like nothing. But imagine getting around eight PMs with roughly the same message. Still not feeling my anger? Well, hear me out.

Why did it piss me off?

1. A month?! 31 days of not updating?! Is that really that bad? TO ALL WHO SENT ME MESSAGES SUCH A THESE: I HAVE A THING CALLED A LIFE. I DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT, SPEND MY WHOLE DAY ON THE COMPUTER. THAT IS WHY I DO NOT UPDATE EVERY SINGLE BLOODY WEEK OF THE YEAR. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT I THINK I HAVE SAID THIS BEFORE: NEXT YEAR IS MY GCSE YEAR. GCSE GCSE GCSE! IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS, CHECK IT UP!

2. The accusing tone in that PM. It made me feel like I stole a goddamn ring or something.

3. "why have u not updated it when u updated the other one." I'm sorry, but I update when I feel like it. And which one, I don't know. It DEPENDS what I feel like. Sometimes, on boring old day, when all my friends are away or ill, I might feel like updating Stepping Up. And I'm SORRY it wasn't My Happy Ending.

4. Notice how there were no PLEASE?! Manners are VITAL IN LIFE, REMEMBER THAT!

5. "update." Not only is there no please, and it's DEMANDING. It's like me giving you a bowl of crushed, mushy worms and woodlouse, handing you a spoon and saying, "Eat." (haha, my mind is so corrupt!)

DEEP BREATH

I'm sorry if I have been rather curt and rude to some of you, via PM. But I DO get angry, I'm human. And it's a horrible feeling when you've been ILL in bed for around a week, look at your emails, and find PMs such as the one above. Recently, I've been getting SO MUCH of these PMs though. And so many are so similar, I won't be surprised if it's just one person trying with various accounts trying to piss me off. So...you think you can cut me some slack?! I'm only FIFTEEN.

I'm not asking for sympathy OR pity, I'm not like that. I JUST WANT SOME SLACK. I won't mind getting PMs, and if you want to ask me when I'm going to update next, sure, go ahead and ask me, but in an UN-ACCUSING manner.

But you know, I am HONOURED, that people like my stories that much and that's WHY they send PMs such as these.

Glad to get that off my chest. Sorry for being rather rude, but it was coming sooner or later.
