Hi,

I am a mom who has been introduced to the Harry Potter series by my children. I find the world that J K Rowlings has introduced us to fascinating and complex, and knowing that this is the end has me frustrated and longing for more. My children showed me the fanfiction website, and now I am hooked.

All I want is to comment on the best stories I have read so far, hoping that an encouragement will make the writers continue, and maybe point out some errors in grammar and spelling, because these can be disturbing enough to take away from an otherwise nice story. And, by the way, English is my fourth language (out of five). My favorite character is Snape. He is the most complex character and JKR did not do him justice.. No wonder there are so many really good fanfics written about him, many writers obviously feel the same way and are giving him a chance at life and resoluction, most often paired with Hermione, his intellectual equal.
