My pen-name is Miss.Yamapi.Kara.

It is so because Miss.Kara was taken. Also because Yamapi is one much-loved nickname of mine, given to me by a fantastic person.

An Introduction~

Firstly, I'm sarcastic. But that shouldn't fool you. On to serious matters: I believe in equal opportunity for all things; I think that body language is not always reliable and that a book may be judged by its cover, but not with close-mindedness; I have ordained that no one can come into my world unless I grant him or her access; I respect and adore nature.

The not-so serious: once I start with chocolate or bubblegum, I can't stop; I am not afraid of Fear itself; I grow my nails long even though I don't think they suit me; despite their share of triumphs, I owe Nelvana hate-mail.

Reading, writing and dreaming are all on my never-to-not-do list. I also enjoy gardening, listening to music, playing tennis and basketball, playing with my animals and, immensely so, being lazy. I am deeply interested in anything regarded as paranormal, occult or unusual. I am attracted to shiny things.

Back to Anime: Thoughts~

'Naruto' Pairing:
(August, 2007) The fanfics that I've written so far are based on 'Naruto' by Masashi Kishimoto. I've seen that many authors on FFdotnet will write in the summary of their story the pairing included in the fic, i.e. Naruto/Sasuke or Sasuke/Naruto etc. ... I don't really want to do that. Know that my favourite couple of 'Naruto' (sadly, I doubt Kishimoto has this in mind..) is Naruto and Sasuke, however I don't see either of the two to be dominant over the other. Therefore, when I write "Pairing: Naruto x Sasuke" I enter the names in alphabetical order. shrugs In some instances (of my writing), Naruto will seem stronger than Sasuke in some respect or vice versa, but I generally see them as equal. I try to make that overall impression of equality between them evident in my writing, but bias or preference of the reader will always be strong (and I will not always be successful). I like to write cutesy stuff for both, I like to write manly stuff for both.. and I WORSHIP sap.. I guess it depends on my mood and the situation I find the characters to be in.

Tenten ('Naruto'):
(October 09, 2007) I like Tenten. She may seem useless and unimportant but I see that she is knowledgeable and resourceful. She knows a lot of things that most people don't - she stores information. For example, she showed (through narration) that she knew some intricate details about Neji's family situation while he fought in the Chuunin Exams, which is both potentially valuable and dangerous information to have. Therefore, it is conceivable that Tenten is considerably tactical. She helps Neji train, thereby learning more and more about him. If she helps him become stronger through training/sparring, she must also be very strong; in a sense, perhaps stronger than him. She must have an advanced control of her own techniques and have observed Neji's well enough to give him a worthwhile opponent. The fact that Neji is an elite goes without saying. Therefore, it is obvious that Tenten is reliable and able. She also fights like no one else: Tenten is a weapons expert. She can fight both long-range and close-range battles; she can execute surprise attacks and silent attacks; she can intimidate an opponent relatively easily. It might not seem practical to fight while relying so heavily on weapons but I can imagine that a style based on weapon utilisation requires precision and patience, presumably two very difficult things for most people to master. The ninja world needs its weapons masters. It's also just plain cool. She is strategic, she is strong, and she hides it well. That is why I like Tenten.

2009

(February 22) So, those three goals I'd made in 2008 were not reached. No matter, I feel fine with it. My decision concerning fanfiction is as such: I would rather spend the time I have besides studying to read manga and watch anime, so the inclusion of fanfiction in my life will now be minimal (and unfortunately has been for quite some time..). However, I intend to finish 'Conscious Dreaming' before the end of March. Let's see what I can do, since it's not so interesting to me anymore.. For the sake of any readers who were enjoying it, I'll try my hardest to make it finish well. As always, I'm working on non-fanfiction ideas at the same time as everything else, so I doubt it will ever be disproved that I can't soundly finish something which I've started. As for the fanfiction of other writers, I intend to re-read all of them during this year. I want to feel as intrigued as I did when I first began reading them. That said, I hope I do post some one-shots in the near future - they're fun to write.

(February 27) Four of six fanfictions have been revised. One of remaining is as yet incomplete; the other is discontinued.
