I am a fanfic reader since my seventeens, when I was still applying to the university... yet only now, as a grad student, I decided to post my first fanfic here. Mainly because I found out that I do like to write although my English, not being my native language, still needs a good improvement. Well, I tried to write one fic in last summer. I didn't know what to do with it. I decided to upload it here in an act of cheer boldness. I liked the reception. I uploaded more chapters. I changed the rate to M (more freedom of... speech ;) ). Pleased with the outcome of my ever-growing fic, I started to write another one.

Update 18/11/2008: I am currently very, very busy with work to update anytime soon. However, I am hoping that I will manage to finish two chapters of MC and upload them in December... I hope :)

Update 25/09/2008: Can't believe a year has already passed since I uploaded my very first fanfic here, Locked In My Heart... which is, by the way, still up and running ;)

Update 24/08/2008: Maybe it has not been a coincidence to upload a new fic in the day of the ending ceremony of the Olympic Games, for writing that one is proving to be an olympic challenge... but at least the prologue of "Alone in the Dark" is up :)

Fanfictions that I might write, or read and review: Final Fantasy (Square Enix RPG series) and Rurouni Kenshin (Japanese manga and anime). Although I have my own preferences about each game characters or pairings, I love to read a good, well developed plot, especially stories that mix adventure with romance. Utterly sad-but-romantic stories captivate me as well :) As for writing, my imagination takes high flights with Ashelia B'Nargin Dalmasca and Basch Fon Ronsenburg of Final Fantasy XII. It is a bliss for me, whenever I have a bit of free time, not only to write but also to read a good fic about the "Ashe x Basch" pairing, as I am a faithful and die-hard fan of them.

The most alluring themes of the moment (the #1 will never change):

#1: Ashe x Basch (FFXII) stories. The Queen and Her Knight. Together, they won my heart :)

#2: Espers (FFXII) stories. Has anyone else noticed how cool they are?

#3: Aoshi x Misao (RK) stories. Because they are so meant to be.

#4: Beatrix of Alexandria (FFIX) tales. Without Steiner, please.

About Communities: I am currently the manager of Fairytale Spell, a C2 community hosting BaschxAshe fanfics - a place was needed to store all the wonderful fics I have found around here. About "Wars": I have a tendency to be this happy-go-lucky girl always playing around about everything, and the few time I dedicate to this fandom is just for pure fun and also to acquire some writing "skills". It is not usual for me to engage myself in those "shipping wars" - unless someone defies me to - although I find myself so in the mood for some nonsense ramblings when I have the time to do such.

About Feedback: I love feedback... Constructive feedback, reviews, let me know what you think, let me learn from you. Feel free to point out either everything you liked and everything you did not like, in my work but, please, be constructive, polite and mature. Reviews are one of the main things that let me know that my story is being read and that gives me the strength and motivation I need to keep going on :)

About Original Characters: I usually don't like them, because apart some exceptions, like certain villain characters, mostly tend to be Mary Sues, plain and simple: besides having the annoying tendency to be as stunningly good-looking as the writer would like to be, they usually have a special connection or simply love the canon character that the writer also loves, normally have some cute disability that is compensated by some random power, or a flaw that surprisingly makes the character more interesting. I usually run away from them, except in cases that they do not have the central role but a small one, or are really badass and interesting villains :P

About writing in English (or, an advice to my fellow Portuguese people) I strongly encourage everyone to learn English and write your stories in that language for several reasons: (1) in FF world, especially in FFVII, FFX and FFXII, the characters talk in English therefore, I consider that any story written in another language automatically transforms each and every character into an OoC, and hence the story loses part of the "FF essence" that we are all used to; (2) English is an universal language and opens many doors - I know it for a fact. I met wonderful people here, not only by reading their stories but also by interacting in forums and believe me, you will learn to write better if you are willing to make an effort :) ; (3) Learning is hardly a bad thing - and learning an universal language will only improve your bonds between you and the world :)

About Beta Reading: Still following the previous topic, allow me to add that one of the best days I had here in FF, was the day I asked Landis Icelilly for help, right before uploading "His Forbidden Queen" and I only regret not having done it sooner... she is a wonderful friend, brilliant writer (go read her stories, they are lovely and gripping and realistic!) and my awesome beta-reader! I am learning with her a lot :) So thank you my friend, thank you :)

A knight is set to defend her. And their hidden feelings start to surface along with long forgotten memories and mystifying dreams... this is the ingame prelude to a posgame mysterious tale. Characters:Main Basch x Ashe, slight Balthier x Fran, slight Vaan x Penelo.

Status - In Progress. Final Fantasy XII. Rated T for now. Romance and Humour. Two years after Ashe's coronation. Summary:to celebrate his birthday, the Emperor of Archadia Larsa Ferrinas Solidor hosts a ball in his Palace. However, being a masquerade ball, it is requested for every guest to be disguised, and one identity will only be announced if one wishes so. A prelude to an evening full of promises and... surprises. Characters: Main Basch x Ashe; Penelo x Vaan x Larsa ; Balthier, Fran, AlCid, Zargabaath and other secondary characters. As I know exactly what path to follow in this fic, I must warn you that its rate is subjected to be raised into M.

Status - Writing. Final Fantasy XII oneshot. Rated M for sexual situations. Angst and Romance. Summary: after her escape from Leviathanand the meeting with Ondore, Ashe reminisces, as she tries to steal the Strahl. However, she is interrupted and not by Vaan. Characters: Basch x Ashe.

Meanwhile, the truth about Them keeps unfolding before their eyes. Characters: Main Basch x Ashe , slight Balthier x Fran , Vaan x Penelo x Larsa. Four other characters from FFXII world will also join. Character deaths, strong content and development of new worlds.

Her life as a delicate princess, as a resistance leader, as a strong-willed queen, and all her relationships with the ones she met along the way, especially regarding their steadfast companions. Status - Planning. Final Fantasy XII one-shot. Humour and Family. Three children have solemnly swear that they will be up to no good; and they accidentally find something that was supposed to be well hidden... only to be caught by their father who, in turn, cannot help but feel drawn to this awesome discovery. Status - Writing. Final Fantasy XII. Series of drabbles based on strange encounters, mistifying visions and other supernatural phenomena. First Drabble: "The Howling Moon": an ambush at the Feywood ends in a most awkward way for a certain knight. Characters: Basch x Ashe and other pairings. Written with the collab of my friend Feeny :)

Status - Writing. Final Fantasy XII. Prequel to FFXII. Rabanastre: they pray and hope. Nalbina: they fight and lose. Archadia: they kill and conquer. The Knights of Dalmasca fought bravely, the defence of Dalmasca strong in their hearts, however, everything went wrong. Carrying the dying Prince in his arms, the Captain returns to Dalmasca and to a newly widowed Princess. She grieves, they grieve, Dalmasca grieve. And then, she notices that she has only her father... and him. In his eyes she saw that he will never leave her, in her heart she realizes what he mean to her. Characters: Basch x Ashe, briefly mentioned Rasler x Ashe.

Status - Planning. Final Fantasy XII. AU story. Adventure and Angst. Summary:Ashelia does not throw away the power of the Nethicite. She heeds the Occuria's words and allows herself to give into the luring power that the Sun-Cryst can offer; a so tempting a power in her grasp will allow her to take down whoever threatens her beloved Kingdom... will allow her to conquer and rule Ivalice if she wishes. Her heart darkens, and falls into the stone's power. Her thirst for power and revenge grows and there's only one way to stop her. Knowing what he has to do, Basch still accepts to do so. Because he must protect Ivalice, he traps his feelings, locks his heart and, sword in hand, with the help of his allies, he departs to meet her. Characters: Basch x Ashe, Vaan, Penelo, Balthier, Fran, Larsa.

Now that a year has passed since I got an account here, I want to mention all the wonderful people that I have met along the way :D

First, Landis Icelilly, one of the first writers I met here, and now my awesome friend and beta! I tell you... her stories are so brilliant, breathtaking and exquisite, she has a way with words that offers me much inspiration :); Aorin, probably one of the first BaschxAshe fangirls that always stood her ground in supporting this pairing, with wonderful ability to write and edit fanvids dedicated do them :); Sita 900, she is an remarkable writer that comes up with brilliant plots and great advices to the FF newcomers, including me :); Baschashe, who landed on FF almost at the same time as me, that has such charming stories that can really put a smile on your face and bright up your day; AkeriAerkix, that has much talent in both writing incredibly humorous words and in video edition, her fanvids are purely awesome :D; Maudiebeans, that has not only a great imagination to develop great fics, but also an immense talent to draw beautiful artwork that mesmerizes me everyday, and she is indeed my favourite artist :D; Miss Famke, always so nice and kind to everyone :), she is also a mastermind in writing mysterious plots that makes one guessing all the time; Feeny, the VaanxPenelo epic writer in the midst of so many crazy BaschxAshe fangirls, whose cheerfulness and happiness makes everyone else smile too :D; and Daemon Hunter, the writer that can draw anyone to his fantastic descriptive writing style :)
