Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter, and Chronicles of Narnia. Hello everyone! My name is Katie and I am a senior in high school this year. This year has been crazy, already I have tons of things to do with college applications, the SAT, and regular school work. Fanfiction is my little escape, but I'm not sure I'll be able to do much until around Thanksgiving/Christmas. I do have more chapters of The Beginnings of Power written, but because of real life am not able to update. If any of my very few readers, whom I adore, would like to give me ideas to what they'd like to see in my story give me a review because I have a big bit of writer's block and can't get back into the "groove" of writting. I have ideas of where I'd like the story to go and end up, but not what to do along the way. For my new story The Changing of Fate, I am pleasantly surprised by the good reviews it has recieved. I love all of the people who read it, especially those who review. Thank you so much for taking the time to review. It really made my day to know that people care. That said, I don't have anymore written at the moment and I won't get a chance to this weekend because I have to write college essays. I'm not sure exactly where it's going to end up, I mostly liked the idea of people realizing that Susan is totally awesome (I love her) and much more than she seems. If my readers have any ideas or suggestions for the story, feel free to let me know- I'll probably incorporate it into the sotry! Maybe I'll have something to work on in my Stat class after all... About Me: I was introduced to Harry Potter by my best friend about 6 years ago and became an even bigger fan than her. I discovered fanfiction almost a year after that at the the end of the school year, I didn't study for finals because of it (and all the following finals). Oops! ;) Harry/Ginny is my favorite ship and the best ship ever! I don't mind a well written Harry/OC or Harry/Hermione, but Harry/Ginny will always be my favorite. I love Suspian because I always wanted something more for Susan because I don't believe she could turn her back on Narnia. I am now addicted to this fanfiction world. I recently started collecting antique/vintage books and now have an impressive collection of around 10! I'm on the look out for estate sales, bookshops, and friendly neighbors willing to part with their unwanted boxes of books! I am a total fanfiction addict and have a hard time concentrating on doing my homework because I cannot wait to read some more fantastic stories. My parents just don't understand...sigh... Favorites: Books: Harry Potter (Of course), The Chronicals of Narnia (Though I don't like how Susan ended up- she's my favorite character), Twilight, Pride and Prejudice, His Dark Materials, Eragon, The Tale of Desperoux, Friends in High Places, and many more... Movies: Lord of the Rings, Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia (especially Suspian), Twilight (it's funny!), Casino Royal (I love Daniel Craig), Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, Enchanted (I love Amy Adams), Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, almost all the other Disney Movies (The Disney Princess ones are the best) A Cinderella Story, Another Cinderella Story (My guilty pleasure), She's the Man, Shakespeare in Love, Leatherheads, Ocean's 11, The Golden Compass (Which I'm sad it won't have a sequel because I really liked it), and many more... Favorite Quotes: "Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing." - Unknown "Don't tell me the sky is the limit when men have walked on the moon." - Unknown I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge, that myth is more potent than history, that dreams are more powerful than facts, that hope always triumphs over experience, that laughter is the only cure for grief, and I believe that love is stronger than death. - Robert Fulghum "In a world where your hope rests on such trivial things, you'd think that your hope would be gone, but there's always hope to be found in love and when you love someone as I do then that hope is never gone, just waiting for you to come and find it, the hope that there is love." - Unknown | |||||||
