Author has written 8 stories for Harry Potter.

New News: I've gotten a beta for Deepest Fear Revealed. I won't be deleting it, but I will be replacing the chapters once they're edited. Just a heads up for ya'll.

Hi. The name's Potterworm. If you're wondering where the heck I got that name, like all my friends were when I told them it, it's actually quite simple. I'm a Harry Potter fan, and I'm a bookworm. Hence, Potterworm.

I write on multiple Harry Potter fansites. All my stories get posted here first though. If you see my stories on another site, it'll still be under this name. It's still me.

If you're looking for personal information on me, you won't be getting it. I'm happy to talk to you all on the forums or PMs about related fanfiction topics, but I don't give my email address out. I do however check my email often, so I'll see PMs quickly.

I read Harry Potter fanfiction. Were it not for the heartwrenching season finale of House MD, that'd be the only fandom I read. Alas, the script writers did write an angsty awesome finale, and I was addicted. I primarily read fanfiction in the Harry Potter fandom, and it's the only one I write. However, I now dabble in the reading of House MD fics when I'm horribly bored.

A Child No More was my first, and hopefully last attempt at fanfiction poetry. Be warned, I'm no poet. I just don't have the willpower to delete it.

But It Breaks Your Heart is still one of my favorite stories I've ever written. It's a one-shot about Petunia's feelings towards Harry. It's written entirely in the second person point of view in the present tense. Let me tell you, for someone who's average at grammer, that is really, really challenging to write. I put a ridiculous amount of effort into it, but it was worth it. I still love it.

The Price of Exsistence might as well be a drabble, that's how short it is. It was my first attempt at writing a characterization of the relationship between Snape and Harry.

Disbelief to the Highest Degree is a rewrite of the second story I began on this site. You may remember it as Guilt and Grief. I remember it as bad characterization, bad dialogue, bad proofreading, mischaracterization, and unoriginal. However, I still liked my original concept, so I wrote this much better version. If someone came into Harry's room, claiming to be Sirius back from the dead, how would Harry react?

And I'm... (in Isolation) is a one-shot written from Lily Potter's point of view, about the night Voldemort attacked. It's meant to be a bit prose-y with her thoughts scattered and moving all over the place. Some people understand it. Some don't. You decide.

Masked is first person story about Sirius running away from home. I find that the fandom often exaggerates events, so I wrote this story about it being 'the last straw' and not some big abusive dramatic event.

Deepest Fear Revealed was my very first story. The plot had potential, but it just lost wind as I went. If you want proof that writers improve, read this, and then read my more recent stuff. (I was planning on deleting it, but I can't stand the thought of deleting that many reviews.)

Deepest Fear Revealed: Rewritten is my attempt at salvaging the concept of Deepest Fear Revealed. If Harry was abused, if Harry faced a different boggart, if Lupin took a bigger interest in his life, if... what if? It's my only WIP on this site. I update completely sporadically. It could be a day; it could be a month. I write when I have time and inspiration. These things can't be forced. If I do decide to abandon one day, I'll post a notice on my profile. I don't believe in abandoning with no word to anyone.

Now that I've given my little self-pimping story summary (it's my profile, what'd you expect?) I should mention that I've created a forum known as Potterworm's Place. If you want to ask me a question or discuss my stories, and you don't want to PM, feel free to comment on the forum. I check as often as I remember.

I've also created a C2 called Harry is abused. It seems I mainly read angsty abused!Harry stories, so I decided to make a collection of them. It's not just Dursley abuse, it's a teacher abusing him, boyfriend abusing him, girlfriend abusing him, you name it. They're some of the best of the site, so please read. If you have a reccomendation for a story, feel free to PM me or mention it on my forum. I may not add it, because it is primarily about my personal taste in stories, but I won't be a jerk about it either. I appreciate recs either way. Please give the title and the author and/or the direct link to the story.

If you're wondering what type of stories I like to read, here it goes:

In the Harry Potter fandom, I like angst. However, when you've been reading a fandom for a year, you can't be picky. I read everything. Snarry, Drarry, Ginny/Harry, Harry/Hermione, Harry/Parvarti, even Harry/Seamus. I read super!Harrry, Severitus, manipulative!Dumbledore, nice!Dumbledore. I'm a walking contradiction in what I read.

In House MD, my only requirement is that it not be humor. House isn't meant to be humor. It's supposed to be angst with a side of drama. Or vice versa. Possibly romance. Not. Humor.

As a writer, I write primarily angst. Weirdly, I primarily write about abuse. And I say weird, because the most knowledge I have of the horror of abuse is from Harry Potter and from a few episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation. I never write romance. Ever. I may someday, but for now, I stay far, far, far away. Trust me, I'm doing you all a favor.

If by some weird fascination with me, you've read this far, I've gotta say something. You have way too much time on your hands. That being said, fans rock! Take any further questions to PMs or the forums. I love this site.
