Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, and Star Wars. Well if you're reading this I guess you've read my story, TBWLYR or THEWMTB. To be honest, I know I'm not the best writer but hey some idea's need to be written down so I can get them out of my head and that pair just kind of sparked and developed on their own. I'm a relatively normal, a few quirks here and there (who hasn't), 18 year old guy with a large penchant for fanfiction, mostly of the Harry Potter, FFVII or FFVIII persuasion. Though I have read others on occasion. This interest stemmed from reading the HP books and more specifically the HBP, which I found rather unsatisfying. And this led me to the great world of fanfiction. Even when the Deathly Hallows came out I seemingly found it mostly predictable, the Horcruxes were easily figured by most and the Hallows provided the not much needed catalyst for the eventual defeat of Voldemort. I always thought that book was going to be about Harry maybe coming to his senses and actively seeking someone or something to help him fight Voldemort. Not stumble along until it fell into his lap. And while I found it a good ending up as it tied most loose ends. To me it was rather unbelievable that such a vaunted Dark Lord was killed by such a coincidence, hell did Harry truly kill him? I'd say that's up for debate after all it was the Elder wand that backfired, killing him not the Harry's disarming charm. And the fact that so many Death Eater's, each with tens of years of experience over boy wonder also fell at his feet. It would be like throwing a lion in with a lamb, in my eyes Harry wouldn't have came out of the situation in the Department of Mysteries, neither would his friends. Because if those Death Eaters wouldn't flinch when killing Aurors, why therefore would they not just kill Harry and his friends taking the prophecy in the first place. And with Harry and admittedly more so his friend’s zero combat experience, it truly beats me how they were still alive? Also Harry didn't really go through any great moral or ethical struggle in my eyes, not even when Sirius was killed. I mean think about it if someone you loved was killed, murdered by a deranged sociopathic killer and you had your chance for revenge. Would you really throw it away like he did? All the while allowing an Old Man who's made one to many mistakes pepper you with forgiveness. I think it goes against human nature. If it was ninety percent of other people Bella wouldn't have walked out of the atrium of the MoM. But then again Harry always defy's the odds don't he. (Imagine me rolling my eyes at this point.) And honestly I could go on and on about that subject but you'd be bored stiff. Anyway I hope you read my stories if you happen to stumble upon this before reading them. Although I am a fairly inconsistent updater, so sorry in advance! And if any ask why I'm a HarryCho shipper, I'm not really but in my stories she serves as a good platform after all who really knows about her history before Harry spotted her? Answer, no one; so you can take a few liberties her and there in order to create your own version of her and her potential story. But even still I hope you enjoy THEWMTB and TBWLYR as I fairly enjoy writing. I also have an account over at FictionPress.com which showcases my rather shitty talents in original fiction so if your interested here's the link. | |||||||||
