Author has written 13 stories for Gilmore Girls. I have loved the written word since I was a young child, and have written short stories since I was twelve, over 30 years ago. It feels good to be able to write again, although my computer skills are not that great, so please bear with me. I love all kinds of t.v. shows, but none has inspired me as much as Gilmore Girls. As a single mom of a now grown daughter, I can relate to Lorelai. In fact, I learned many wonderful lessons from this great show that has brought my only child and me closer than we've ever been. My stories will be filled with humor and joy, as well as drama, cause that's part of life. There will be pain, angst, and a myriad of emotions. They will be about connecting and bonding and growing inside. They will have life lessons that connect the characters to their inner knowledge and the healing power of love. They will have romance (cause I'm a hopeless javajunkie) and have strong family ties, in ways only a Gilmore can! I love the mother/daughter bond between Lorelai and Rory, and I'm fascinated by the relationship between Lorelai and Emily. I wish they would have reconciled them on the show, because the show was just as much about them as with Lorelai and Rory. There will also be stories that are just plain fun, because what's Gilmore girls without the humor! I hope you enjoy my stories beginning with my very first one, "A Mother's Hope". August 15, 2011 Those of you who have been reading "A Mother's Love" and wondering what happened, please bear with me. I have every intention of finishing this story (and writing some new ones), but I am unable to do so at this time. Life has a way of complicating things and making inspiration hard to come by and writing a void to overcome. "A Mother's Love" is a very special story and I really need to be in a good place to write it, both spiritually and creatively. This past year alone found me moving from California back to New York to live with and care for my parents. After a very difficult decline, my mother recently passed away from end stage Alzheimer's and my uncle (Dad's brother) is nearing the end of HIS battle with Alzheimer's as well. So please be patient with me. I will return to writing when the time is right. Now is the time to grieve and heal. After all, that's what my stories tend to be about...healing. With my busy life, it will take more time than it used to to post, but I will try as best as I can. I am currently working on chapter 22 of "A Mother's Love" and hope to update it eventually. For those of you wondering what happened to chapter 25 of "A Mother's Hope", it seems to have somehow been deleted from the site. I have the chapter on a flash drive but I'm having problems uploading it. When I solve the issue I will re-post chapter 25. Until then please enjoy my stories and thank you for reading and reviewing.
