"Authors are a dying breed. In some parts, we have had to resort to keeping them in captivity to ensure their continued survival. Their extinction is steady, and yet so easily preventable! The solution is so simple, it is a shock that so few have actually caught on. All it takes is a review... Simple, and yet so effective! Your review will be donated to this worthy cause, and will go towards keeping authors happy and content, and doing what they do best, in their natural environment. Donate one today, and it will go straight to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty and Depression in Young Authors of Fan Fiction (also known as the RSftPoCaDiYAoFF. Catchy, eh?). You could change a life today!
Have a heart-- Review!"
An explanation: I haven't really been posting much recently, because I'm getting caught up in my latest self-induced challenge. I'm planning to write a drabble for every day that Edward left Bella, starting September the 13th, running all the way through to April 19th. Obviously, this is unlike anything I've ever attempted before, and my drabbles leave a fair amount to be desired. But if anyone has any suggestions for useable words/ phrases, then I'd be more than willing to accept them. I've only written 21 so far, and I'm already running short of inspiration. I appreciate your patience!!
Becky Scarlett-Cullen. I'm a Cullen by marriage. To Edward, obviously. And Scarlett is my second name, seeing as I'm Will, in real life. Only the girl version. Are you confused? Me too. Never mind, eh?
How old are you? 15. How long have you been fifteen? A while. What? It's true! I've been fifteen for like, months! :P
Scotland. But I'm not going any more local than that. Actually, it wouldn't take long to find me-- did you know that there are less people in the whole of Scotland than there are in London? Useless fact for you to store away, and impress your Geography teacher with at a later date. Unless, like me, you've already forgotten it, of course... I've moved around a lot with my family, which could either be seen as lucky, or really unlucky. Consequently, I'm good at making friends...
I love music, paricularly rock/indie/emo, although I'm open to most stuff. At the moment, I'm listening to We Cry, by The Script, which is an incredible song, from their new album. If you haven't heard it, go youtube it!! I'm thinking about writing a OneShot about it, actually...
I also watch tv (occasionally, when I'm not on the computer...). My fave stuff at the moment is Robin Hood, Doctor Who, One Tree Hill, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives and Skins. Also, Merlin isn't too bad...
I do a helluva lot of drama. I'm part of the Balerno Youth Theatre, and am doing a Standard Grade (Scottish equivalent of GCSE, I think) in it. Consequently, I have rehearsals on Mondays, Thursdays and most Wednesdays. It's pretty crazy, tbh, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
And then, of course, there's my writing. I love it so much. To quote my mother, "Rebecca, you write too much." Tch. Full names, eh? Writing is kind of my escape, which is weird. I'm pretty imaginative, and so my school jotters are covered in scrawls of stories, because they've suddenly appeared to me in the middle of writing a german essay, or whatever. It annoys the hell out of every teacher, apart from my english and drama teachers, who are fully supportive. I guess that makes sense...
"I used to be Schizophrenic, but we're both getting over that now." :)
I know that it's kind of customary, at this point, to list my stories, and then write a bit about each of them. But, to be honest, I'm too lazy. So I suppose you're going to have to read them all. Try it-- you might even be pleasantly surprised!
That'll be the day, eh?
Have fun!
