A Little Bit about How I Write
I write mostly romantic fluff, though I do occasionally venture into sci-fi or action stories. Even my stories for sci-fi mangas/other series have at least a little bit of romance worked into it. (Lately, though, I've taken to writing some very sad/depressing stories, like "Cyanide in Happiness" and "After the End"...) My subjects range from animes like Ai Yori Aoshi and Mahou Sensei Negima! to cartoons like South Park, to book series like Harry Potter and His Dark Materials. Basically, if it's something I'm very passionate about, I'll write stories about it. Also, I try as hard as I can not to write stories about canon pairings, seeing as they're always both too predictable and too boring (to me). So, whether I'm writing HarryLuna for Harry Potter, KaoruTina for Ai Yori Aoshi, or NegiNodoka for Mahou Sensei Negima, my writings will pretty much always be anti-canon. (Off the top of my head, I can only think of three "canon" pairings that I support: LyraWill, for His Dark Materials; YuichiAyu, for Kanon (and that one's kinda questionable, seeing as Yuichi and Ayu never actually got together in the series); and StanWendy, for South Park.) Also, lately, I've taken to writing (le gasp) SLASH... It's actually pretty fun.

January 1, 2008: Yep, that's right. It's finally here- the first day of the year 2008. As you might have noticed (or not, I never know), I deleted all my journal entries for the year 2007, so I can start over with a clean slate for this year. Now, onto the fanfiction news. I might have the third chapter of The Reunion up today, but it'll be a thin chance. I just started work on my original book of short stories, called Shallow Graves, so I'll be writing on that alot, in addition to revising old stuff/putting new stuff on The Hunter. But I promise that even though my updates will be few and far between, I will try to update each of my ongoing fanfictions at least once a month. January 8, 2008: Ladies and gentlemen, I am officially back at school for the semester! Which means quite a bit of writing time, yay! A lot of that will be dedicated to The Hunter and Shallow Graves, but I will be updating my stories every once in awhile, as you read in my last journal entry. January 30, 2008: New Harry Potter fic coming soon, and it won't be HarryLuna or a lame oneshot! Actually, it's going to be dealing with a bit of mature material (i.e. family abuse). I'll try to keep the general tone kind of upbeat, but it'll be inevitable that it'll hit some low spots. Okay, so I lied- it will be HarryLuna, though the main character (one of my OC's) gets with Ron around chapter five-ish. As for Hermione... haven't decided where she'll be going at this point. February 7, 2008: School sucks, I tell you. I've got papers due every week, in practically every single one of my classes, and if I don't have papers- I have tests... F-WORD! Anyways, onto fanfiction news: I'm so proud of myself. I actually started chapter 12 of Passions. I'm about a page into it right now. For those of you who actually read my profile at all, you'll get a sneak peak of the plot. Basically, it's a short NegiYue fic, set on Yue's 15th birthday. I think you'll enjoy it. Other news: I might post chapter nine of Best Days of Our Lives tomorrow, depending on how much crap I get assigned for over the weekend.

I've decided that, after a year and a half of "hard" work, I'm going to restart my work on The Hunter. That means more long hours of typing away on it, and almost no fanfiction work. At all. So for those of you who still care, I won't be posting much. Maybe one update (that's in general, not on every story) every two weeks, if I'm lucky...

UPDATE: I'm starting on a new fic right now, for Ai Yori Aoshi. So expect that one to be up either late tonight or sometime tomorrow.
March 4, 2008: "Two journal entries on two consecutive days? What's the occasion?" Betcha that's what you're thinking, eh? That is, if you even read this. Well, it's for one reason only: to recommend to you guys an excellent manga series, one of my new favorites. It's called Kanon. If you've never heard of it... go get it. If you can't get the manga or if you can't read Japanese, then watch the anime, 'cause it's just as good.
UPDATE: Hey, whaddaya know? I actually got the first chapter of "After the End" posted. FYI, that's the Ai Yori Aoshi story I promised y'all yesterday.
March 6, 2008: Well, I'm off class all day tomorrow, so I'll probably do chapter two of "After the End". Also, I'm starting a new fic for South Park, probably tomorrow. So that'll be up either late tomorrow or mid-day Saturday. In other news... crap, I forgot...

April 7, 2008: I just finished reading the last volume of Ai Yori Aoshi (the manga). hot DAMN that was a tear-jerker. And even though I knew that Aoi and Kaoru would live happily ever after, it doesn't lessen the pain of knowing that Tina still loves him (and knowing that KaoruTina is a WAY better couple than KaoruAoi)... In any case, I've updated a few of my South Park stories, and I'm writing some chapters for some of my Harry Potter stories (sorry, all you fans of Life through Fresh Eyes or Taken Away- I just haven't felt up to updating any of my HP stories lately...). So those might be up later.
April 16, 2008: Quick update- new Mahou Sensei Negima! fanfic in the works- "Severed the Bonds". Negi leaves Mahora Academy for good. What will his students' reactions be? Also, updates on my South Park stories will come soon.
April 21, 2008: To all you who read this page, and have wanted me to beta-read stuff for you... I'm not accepting any more requests until June. I have a whole bunch of end-of-year projects and tests to worry about, not counting the personal writing I want to do over summer break. So, until late June (I'd say around the 25th), I won't be accepting your requests. Again, I'm not leaving the site to its own desires- I'm still going to be pumping out story updates every few days. I just won't be up to reading your stuff until I get fully settled into summer.
April 24, 2008: Wow, I guess it's official- New Beginnings is now officially my least-popular story. It's been on the site for over three months, and not a single review... This sucks... Anyways, I plan for chapter three of Getting Gay with Kids Again to be up today, and maybe even chapter four of Cyanide in Happiness if I feel up to it (I've been pretty sick lately... That, and I'm working on a new Harry Potter TCG using a Magic: The Gathering Set Editor that I downloaded a few weeks back...) So keep on the lookout!
May 8, 2008: Well, I finally updated something... I got chapter 10 of Best Days of Our Lives written and posted today. Tomorrow's going to be chapter four of Cyanide in Happiness and a start on chapter three of Getting Gay with Kids Again. Also, a new South Park oneshot is in the works, though with all the work I have to do over the weekend, it may not be up until Monday. Cheers!
June 5, 2008: Home for the summer, I am. Well... I got a job doing maintenance work at a hotel, so that takes a big chunk out of my time. Plus, I only have 90 minutes a day on the computer at home, so that kinda takes a bite out of my writing time. That, and my vector work, takes up most of my time these days. I am in the process of updating some stories that I haven't updated in awhile, i.e. Killing Me Softly and Taken Away. Plus, a new chapter for South Park Does the 100 Theme Challenge later tonight, and a new story for Best Days of Our Lives sometime tomorrow. Cheers!

June 8, 2008: W00t! I updated-ed Passions, finally. (Yesterday...) Not with the NegiYue oneshot I promised you about four months ago, but this time with a NegiMakie oneshot. So, read and review!!
June 28, 2008: Not much updating has been done since my Passions update. I've decided, though, to pretty much abandon Passions in favor of starting a new series of Negima! oneshots called Explorations. I have over 70 pairings in mind for this story, and I'll probably come up with more of them before the end. So, stick with me, guys!
