Aravir
Theophila Morningstar

Aravir is a young woman addicted to Narnia. Her room is Narnian themed. She has a few Narnian themed clothes. Everything she sees reminds her in some way of Narnia. Between cooking, cleaning, completing chores, and/or sleeping, most of the rest of Aravir's time is spent at www.thelionscall.com, a delightful Narnia (you never could have guessed!) website. You'll see her over there in caption contests and the forum.

When Aravir is not cramming her ruefully woebegone brain full of Math, German, or History, she is an avid photographer and videographer (filming). Some of her photos have even won awards! You can check out some of the photos at Aravir Morningstar - Psalm 19:1 Photography.
Aravir's calling to is make Christian films for families. She has several book series in mind that she wants to make into films someday. For now she contents herself with volunteering on her church's Tech Team and filming the services which, later, are aired on local cable.

If Aravir has any time left after all that she reads and reviews Narnian fics.
Between the above activities, she alternates breathing with inventing stories that she never seems to have time to type out...

Aravir's Stories and Writings:

I finally got a poem up. Admittedly it is a rather poorly written one that I ought to be ashamed of.

Into Narnia

It is dedicated to my baby sister for whom it was made.
I made it up to sing to her as I put her down for her afternoon nap.
(Alas, she has outgrown naps years ago ... though she hasn't outgrown Narnia! Oh no! I keep cultivating that!)

Christmas/Brother/Bonding Fic One-shot (unnamed and unfinished)

On the drawing board. Hopefully I will be able to post it in time for Christmas.
Plot Spoiler: A certain two brother over afternoon tea. One of whom is very concerned. ...de da la la la
I still have some refining to finish before I can post it. I just hope my brain doesn't decide it wants a vacation first!

...~0o0o0o0.o.0o0o0o0~...

Life goes on and I must join it once in a while.
This happens to be one of the times. :(
Someday I'll grab a minute and upload more Narnian poems and fan-fics.
It doesn't help that my fan-fictions are stuck up in my brain and none of them have the decency to spill down to my fingers and out into my computer's keyboard! :(

...
I read fanfiction more than I am able to write it. I enjoy the true Narnia fafiction...the fanfiction that sticks with cannon! I positively hate stories that steal (for that is really what they are doing) a character's name and change their characteristics; especially for the worse. If the author was so 'brilliant' at coming up with a completely new character, they aught ot have the brains to come up with a new name too!
When I read a story that has incest or slash, you can be sure I will not be lenient in my review should I choose to even honor the scrap of writing with a review.

There are many, many stories that are of my favorite Narnian stories but if I had to shorten it to just a few...

A Sea Of Golden Sand -by Andi Horten

Only Children -by Thalion King's Daughter

The Cannon Keepers Saga -by JealousOfTheMoon

elecktrum's Narnia Series

Ok, so two of the four aren't single stories... hey, I had to fit a bunch in there somehow! ..

Copy and pastes

I have a one-time gift. A beautiful gift that many people are ridiculed for in this day and age. A precious gift that many people throw away. It's called "virginity", and I plan to not waste it on someone who's just gonna dump me later. I choose to be faithful to my future husband, the man who will love me for the rest of my life, and to wait for the wedding day!! If you have chosen to save your one-time gift and are PROUD of your purity, paste this into your profile and add your name to the list: Dearheart, Narnian Nights. floppyearsthebunny, Narniachick, Lady of Stormness Mountain, LovelyPrincessWhiteRose, Destiny J. Adams, Shotzee1881, ladychristythenoble, Aravir Theophila Morningstar

Girls
are like
apples on trees.
The best ones are
at the top of the tree. The
boys don’t want to reach
for the good ones because they
are afraid of falling and getting hurt.
Instead, they just get the rotten apples
from the ground that aren't as good,
but easy. So the apples at the top think
something is wrong with them, when in
reality, they're amazing. They just
have to wait for the right boy to
come along, the one who's
brave enough to
climb all
the way
to the top
of the tree.

OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault.Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

1. Into Narnia reviews
This turned out to be quirky little poem about a little boy named Timothy who gets to go explore Narnia. I made it up to sing to my little baby sister when I put her down for her nap.
