"Accept no substitutes" is my motto. Well, one of them anyway. I also like a shot of fluff with an angst chaser, and yes, bittersweet is my favorite kind of chocolate.

I seem to be in the grip of Twilight Fever. If only I could be treated by Carlisle... sigh. After discovering Twilight in August ’07, I read it at a normal pace. When I got New Moon, unfortunately I thought I’d just start reading it at bedtime and ended up unable to put it down and finished it at 6 a.m. I call it Romeo and Juliet Discover the DaVinci Code, and when I hit the middle section I kept turning every page to get a glimpse of Edward’s name. Eclipse was much the same for me. That book certainly ignited my passion, and my fanfiction is the result of that ignition.

11-22-09 BLUE MOON Alert: I know it's been a long time since I added a new chapter and I've been getting a lot of PMs about it. I'm still hard at work and WILL post the rest of the story. At this point, I've decided I need to finish the whole story before posting the next chapter. I want to be able to post the rest of the chapters within a few days of each other, instead of letting weeks go by in between chapters. So you will be able to read it to the end in quick succession.

I don't enjoy the waiting any more than you do but some things take longer than others. Thanks for being patient. The story still has several chapters left and will be taken to its conclusion, it's just taking a bit longer than I thought it would. Such is life.

Blue Moon takes place immediately after the end of Eclipse and before the Epilogue. Edward hasn't sent the invitation to Jacob yet. This story tries to explain why he does, among other things. The narration alternates between Bella and Edward and the finished story should be well over 200,000 words. Blue Moon is an exploration of their thoughts and feelings, and is planned to go through the Sunday night of their weekend trip. It is not action/adventure, so be forewarned.

We have tried to keep this on the straight and narrow as far as canon goes. This started out to be a short story but I write LONG chapters and if you are looking for something short, this is not it.
