08/15/09: Ok, there's something I GOTTA get off my chest. It's about the whole Yubel and Juudai thing. I just wanted to say, I will acknowledge that it happened and I'll never ignore it, but that doesn't mean I like it. In fact, I fucking hate it. I don't think it's gross, I just...just...no. It makes me very very angry. Don't go whining to me asking me why and saying it's the cutest thing is the whole radamn world. Because it's not to me. So don't rub it in my face. Ok, they love each other. I get it. I fucking get it. It makes me so upset that it's enough to make me wanna shun fanfic. B/c I just don't wanna put that in my fanfics cuz it makes me so upset. I don't have any problem with what Yubel is, or her being male and female. Ok, that's not the issue. It's not that she's "ugly" or "gross;" on the contrary, I find her to be pretty. I just really really dislike that pairing. I wouldn't want her to be alone or to be miserable without Juudai because that's the way the writers made it to be, and I don't think it's fair to deny her that. But I just don't like it. :( It makes me feel as though...no other pairing with Juudai is possible. Know what I mean? It just makes me sad. I just wish it would go away. I wish Yubel would get with Johan or something. Idk. XD ...Disregard that, I suck cock.

06/13/09: I think there's something I want to address. I've done some dumb things before but one of the things I really regret was bashing other people even if their stuff was just for fun. I'm not talking about con crit. I'm talking about being a complete utter ass. I'm really really sorry I did that and I've kinda grown out of that cuz I don't wanna hurt anyone anymore. It's terribly immature and I don't ever want to do it again. So for anyone that has found anything I've said back when I was going through that phase...I apologize. I'm going to try harder in the future not to do stuff like that.

XP School does that to a person. I've been off for a month and two days and FINALLY can write and draw again. XDD It took me WAAY too long. D: I'm so stupid lol. Anyway, expect MOAR updates. :P LOL

1/8/09: Ok, several things. First off, NO MOAR OCS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLZ. I'm so sick of every single fic on the front page being an OC x canon character. I wanna read about GX geez. Ok, secondly, last night, I heard the new Metallica. OMG wtf happened to them? It was awful. I'm sorry but it was just AWFUL. Since when did the GODS of METAL allow THIS to happen? I mean...is it a trend for old school metal/hard rock outfits to suddenly get bad and ridiculous in order to be "fresh?" Seriously, step down when you're on top. That's what Swedish teen pop quartet A-Teens did. Once they reached their peak, they quit while they were still on top. So why does this have to happen? The song I heard was very long and dragged on and on monotonously. It had no flow, and was haphazardly slapped together as though done in a hurry and with lack of inspiration. Not to mention the lyrics sounded like a 5 year old wrote them. Seriously, no depth at all. It was all over the place and very choppy. Nothing really fit together. And the refrain stuck out like a sore thumb. The only part that really did have unity and all. The bridge was really the only good part. Had some melody in it. Geez. This is the worst disappointment since Guns N' Roses long awaited "Chinese Democracy" that came out last month. I mean, GNR has been on top for a long time. I practically worshipped them. But them having new members and rushing to get this album out...Ugh. I warmed up to their latest single a little bit, but I still say it was kind of choppy and random too. The refrain was cheesy, and the percussion sucked, tbh. They had some mean guitar riffs though. Really liked Verses 1 and 2 and the bridge but the rest of the song didn't really flow with that. I'd have liked them to keep that smooth sound going throughout the entire song. But they overrode it with too much percussion and the vocals were kind of strained. -.- Um, seriously, the music for this new era sounds BAD. The rock these days is so watered down. It makes me scream for the hair metal/industrial/electronica of the 80's and the grunge/alternative of the 90's. We gotta save rock n' roll people. As things are looking up for hip-hop, with the latest dance and techno crossovers, things are definitely looking down for rock. :( And I'ma go to bed now before I mull over the mysteries of music or create more alliteration anymore.

12/30/08: Damn, I suck. I've been on break for like four weeks and I have hardly updated at all. My motivation level is zero, even tho I know I won't be able to write much next semester. All I do is IM or stare at my myspace page all day. DX I wish I could make myself update. I started to write today then I was like...ehhh...lol. Halp. D8

11/28/08: Well, I don't know if I can write anymore. Not because I don't want to, but because I don't have time. :( I will be writing the duration of the weekend and during winter break, but next semester, I might as well kiss all that goodbye. I have a bunch of heavy classes (as I said before) and night classes. And school wears me out so much that I sleep most of the day then have homework to do. So you might not see me around for awhile. I might have to give it up entirely. We'll just have to see. :(

11/18/08: Ok, who else is bored with fanfiction? Anyone? Damn. Srsly. Ppl. Have some originality! It's not going to bite...really, it's not...I'm even getting tired of my own fics (the experimental ones anyway). My experimental ones...served their purpose. I found out what I wanted to know. And I found that I did not like to write like that. It's boring. It really is. I'm not talking about ICness or canon. I'm talking about presentation and the such. And incorporating too much canon. That's ok for some ppl. I also realized why I haven't enjoyed reading fanfiction so much. Well, I figured it out. Either it's really badly written and cliche, or its really well-written and cliche. :/ Yeah...I dun't care what you think...well-written can be cliche too if you don't have a plot and if you don't do anything but describe describe describe. People...interaction. Dialogue. Use it. It is your friend. I know I haven't been using it so much lately but that's due to experimentation and characterization requirements. I have been reincorporating it at larger amounts now...I'm just trying to find the balance where I like it. So yeah. Action would be nice too. Action would be really nice. I'm also annoyed by people trying to act like they own the fandom...geez. I can understand con crit. But arrogance? No excuses. Do not rub things in other people's faces and make them feel like shit just because you can...That really annoys me. I know I am not a sweetheart but...I don't want to crush anyone and make them give up. :/ I don't want to make them feel terrible but I don't want them to not improve. Meh, I try to balance. Call me WRONG but the thing is...I don't care what you think. I do my own thing. So...yeah. Don't even go there. Don't even try to confront me about the reviews I leave other people because it's none of your business, and it's not your story, and it's not my story, and it's not an attack on anyone.

11/15/08: I have two pieces of important news. First of all, I'm not sure I'll be on much next semester b/c of my heavy work load. But I'll try my best to update my fics. I won't be answering messages as much b/c my fics are a way of relieving stress and I'll have to make a little time each day to do that. But I'll try. Secondly, I'm returning to valentineshipping fics. So for all of you who wanted me to continue with Manjoume x Asuka, I'm sure you'll be pleased. I have a fic in the works that will be starting once I finish Polarity, which I've been having a lot of trouble with, btw. Perhaps someone with firm knowledge of canon and ICness can help me finish that...b/c I'm stuck on one part. However, it probably won't be much longer, if I can get some of that done today after I finish beta reading. :P

11/13/08: WTF, srsly...Like, I went and I registered for classes today. I'm taking English...which I'm worried about b/c the last English course I took killed...Psychology (plz don't be a lot of work omg), Intro to Architecture (not sure what to think), some Graphic Design class (dunno what moar to say about it), and some orientation half semester 1 credit hour class to give me a full load. Woo hoo. And my dad was ebil today and said "only 12 credit hours?! I guess you're going to summer school." HELL NO. Mom said he was just playing around but idk. I know I need 64 credit hours to graduate but we'll see how it all works out. It'll only take me 2 1/2 years to get it done. Sheesh.

11/06/08: I am very upset. No one cares but I am VERY upset. I have an OCD about not updating my fics until I see that each chapter has at least 100 hits. But when I finally get around to checking them (for the first time since they changed this shit) I see that all I can find is the FUCKING SHITTY reader traffic instead of the hits in general! And that only goes back for like what, four months? All I have to go by now is FUCKING REVIEWS. And I don't get as many as I used to. I AM VERY PISSED. I am very discouraged. I WANT TO QUIT. FUCK YOU FANFICTION TURN MY DAMN STATS BACK TO NORMAL OTHERWISE I CANNOT UPDATE BECAUSE I AM TOO DAMN UPSET ABOUT THIS FUCKING STAT THING. 10/26/08: Ok, I really don't mean to sound rude or anything but I have to let it out: I'm so damn sick of OC fics. I'm not even kidding. Every time I go to the GX archive to look for something to read, all I find are OC fics that have NOTHING to do with the CANON characters. I really don't understand HOW it can be GX without the canon characters and the canon events...It maybe be sort of Yu-Gi-Oh! since it has to do with dueling but...Geez. I almost feel as though they should put a category in games or something so that authors could put their non-canon character related ygo fics there. B/c I did not come here to read about OCs. I want to read about Juudai, Manjoume, Asuka, Johan, Sho, Kenzan, and the REST of the gang. Not some OC paired with a canon character or some new guy coming to Duel Academia 15 years after GX! D:

Ok, a new pet peeve has caught my attention: Stories in which all the characters are gay/their sexuality is emphasized. It's so annoying. It does not MATTER. Why should they directly state it/brag about it? That's not the way their characters are. It's just...UGH. I don't have a beef with gay people. I have gay friends. I love my friends. I don't think anyone should be persecuted for it. And I don't have a problem with yaoi (duh obviously) or even yuri (if that's what you like and some of it can be cute if done right). I don't have a problem with multiple same-sex pairings. But I DO have a problem when every character is gay. Is it really that widespread? No. That's completely unrealistic and really OOC in some cases. Fantasy I understand. But just don't make a big deal out of it because it really is not. Prejudice is one thing. But making a huge deal out of it and rubbing it all up in your face is the opposite end of the spectrum and isn't good either.

I think I might give 5Ds another chance. :/ I don't like it too much but I think Jack is hot. O.o It still makes me mad b/c it replaced GX. BAW. DD: I want my Juudai and Manjoume back! D: But maybe it might give me a little happiness. XD

Also...when is fanfiction going to be just that? There are TOO many rules. Yes, I understand that some basics MUST apply but please, does it have to follow the exact formula of the show? Do we have to write the episodes down according to what happened? Why can't we just all try to have some fun here? This isn't your English thesis for Pete's sake. Characterization? Important. Logical order of events? Crucial. But please don't go overboard trying to keep to certain rules. There is no fun in that.

There is a large gray area, but there is NO need to be shoving your opinion down someone else's throat. And although there may be a grain of truth in some of these things, there is no need to be overly critical to the point that you are glorifying yourself, whether or not you mean to do it. No one is perfect in fanfic writing. Compared to some writers on here, such as Dancing Kirby and Batpig Sexgod (I hope I got the name right), I freaking suck. But there is always room for improvement in your fics and there is no such thing as ever getting enough practice. So some people need to stop acting so high and mighty. Wake up and smell the fucking coffee. YOU ARE HUMAN TOO. YOU make mistakes. YOU were once as ignorant as any child. So why believe that you're so great all of the sudden? Did time or status change that? Listen, people, on here, there are "hierarchies." Yeah right. If you're in a little clique of your own only praising the work of people in your clique and being biased to the point that you are not offering the same helpful con crit as you would to an outsider, then you are being incredibly immature. Juudai x Yubel (Ok, sometimes it can be sweet. Sometimes I really don't mind it. It depends on how it's presented. What really bothers me about it isn't the promise made to love her eternally. And she isn't in the way of the possibility of Juudai x Johan or some other pairing...that's not the problem at all. I don't hate this pairing, just resent it and that resentment makes it difficult to enjoy. The thing that I don't like about it is probably the fact that Juudai changed so much after fusing with Yubel. Yes, I know...it was a fulfillment of the promise, it helped Juudai out, and it made Yubel happy. But...I don't like how Juudai acted. He just seemed like a completely different character. I know he matured but...he seemed bitter. I was just glad when Yuugi helped him regain his joy of dueling and the such at the end. He seemed to go back to "normal," just more mature, which was necessary but it didn't have to be so drastic. But anyway, I just don't think that it was necessary for him to get so...so...unseason1-3Juudai-like...Ya know? That's what made me kind of turned off...I'm a season one fan, I'll be blunt. I also love season three but I am not a huge fan of season four. I mean, don't get me wrong some parts of it were cool and all. It's just Juudai's attitude put a damper on things. It didn't seem quite like GX anymore. And I really was sad that things played out the way they were. I still am not entirely convinced that it was supposed to be that way, since he went back to being Juudai-ish at the end and all. Yubel got to be back with him, he fulfilled his promise to her, he saved the world...that could have been the end of things. I mean I guess it makes sense because Juudai loves dueling so much but...I just...it makes me feel really really sad. I don't know how to explain it. At all. It just makes me feel so unhappy because I guess it's just I want him to be with Johan or Haou/himself :coughcough: ...he could be with Yubel too! Threesomes = awesome. Just...in my fics she won't be Juudai's only lover or anything if I do write something of this sort. But meh...I'm going back to writing about season one soon anyway so...yeah.)

OCs are Ok, but I'm not too hot on them. I rarely read stories with OCs in them because I want to read about the CANON characters. XD

I've lost interest in royalshipping, actually. It's just everywhere...too canon. I mean, I like it in some stories, but I'm not as much a fan of it anymore, because they work too well. There's nothing to say about it. Basically, there was only one royalshipping fic ever written. XD Sorry. That's my personal opinion. I really don't like that pairing. Well, guess the same is true with spiritshipping, but there are some WONDERFUL fics out there and JoJuu is practically CANON anyway. XD

Ok, so w/e your taste is. I don't care. And lemons are...GREAT!! To say the least. If it has to be a lemon, then be romantic and sweet about it, not all nasty and animalistic. And not all lustful. NO OOCNESS PLEASE!! But...I do LOVE lemons. So..hott...XD I'm a giant pervert.

If a fic is based on the dub, don't bring Japanese canon into consideration (from the reviewer). I know it's tempting to sound all knowlegeable and all but...they're too separate canons. Don't come down on someone because they don't watch the Japanese. The dub is not a bad thing. I started with the dub. I still love the dub even if it has its flaws. Even if the Japanese is better in presentation and plot and all. I don't agree with what 4Kids did but I like the dub as a separate show from the Japanese. Just...don't try to mix the two together like that. Not good.
