Author has written 29 stories for Xenosaga, Valkyrie Profile, Final Fantasy VII, Infinite Undiscovery, Star Ocean, and Final Fantasy X. Final Hikari’s attempt at a profile…take four. Konnichiwa! This profile is a neglected and conflicted mess, but let’s give this another try! XD :D As you can see, I’ve been on FF.net for a while, but I’m also a member of DeviantART as TheFinalHikari. In addition to fan fiction, I post poetry and photographs there. I know post all my wallpapers (now available in widescreen sizes) on TheOtaku.com. I’m Final Hikari there, but you could probably find me just as fast if you went to the Star Ocean section under video games…I’ve thoroughly spammed it. XD Finally, I’m also now making AMVs on YouTube, and my name there is TheFinalHikari. I won’t bore you with too many little details about myself, but I’ll give you a quick summary of the most relevant facts. I write video game fan fiction. My favorite series are the Xenosaga Trilogy, Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean, Shadow Hearts, and Final Fantasy. I also enjoy playing Dynasty Warriors and Ratchet & Clank, but can’t honestly ever see myself writing for either. XD I prefer RPGs, you see. My favorite PS2 game is Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht, PSP game is Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-, 360 game is Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and thus far my favorite PS3 game is Dynasty Warriors 6. But you can depend on the fact Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be my favorite PS3 game once it’s out. XD I have a wide variety of tastes in music, though I prefer Japanese music. I enjoy listening to Gackt, Utada Hikaru, Mio Isayama, Maaya Sakamoto, Yuka Funakoshi, Ritsuki Nakano, Blackmore’s Night, Do As Infinity, See-Saw, Malice Mizer, Aki Angela, Plumb, L’arc~en~Ciel, Kuuki Koudan, Iona, Pink Floyd, Abingdon Boys School, T.M.Revolution, Day After Tomorrow, Linkin Park, Hadiqa Kiyani, Iona, and in small quantities, Namie Amuro. -le gasp- As for anime and manga, I enjoy the written works of Yuu Watase and Mizuho Kusanagi. Ceres: Celestial Legend is by favorite manga series, by the aforementioned magnaka, Yuu Watase. My favorite animes are RahXephon, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Escaflowne. I own more, but those are the most noteworthy parts of my collection. I also adore the Star Ocean EX anime and the Xenosaga anime, but they’re based off games, and belong in a slightly different category. XD Now, moving on to what you’re all most interested in! My fan fiction. That’s what you’re all here for, isn’t it? :p As most have probably guessed, my primary obsession of the year is Star Ocean: The Last Hope. I have one novel, one short story, and several oneshots in the works, all dedicated to this masterpiece RPG for the Xbox360. Last year was Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-. I’d hope for FFXIII next year, but the cast of characters just doesn’t fascinate me too much (Bridget Hoffman must voice Lightning!), so I don’t know if I’ll be writing for FFXIII. I’ll only write for a series if the characters interest me, since I’m afraid settings don’t really suck me in. XD As you can see, I write for Final Fantasy VII, Xenosaga, Valkyrie Profile, Infinite Undiscovery, Star Ocean, and Final Fantasy X.
