Author has written 5 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, True Grit, 2010, and Firefly. I raised my glass and drained it. 'You’re just hiding from reality,' Becker said. 'Why not?' 'You’ll never be a writer if you hide from reality.' 'What are you talking about? That’s what writers do!' - Charles Bukowski, Ham on Rye I read a lot of Bukowski, listen to a lot of Tom Waits, and am always impressed by beautiful words saying terrible things. I think there's a lot to be said for intricate simplicities and it's something I strive for as I venture into writing. Visuals are my specialty, subtext is key, everything has a purpose, and coincidences are hardly just that. Many thanks for reading, faving, and story alerting. Reviews are greatly appreciated - I always try my best to respond (as I love having a dialogue with fellow readers and writers) as well as returning the favor if something catches my interests. | |||||||
