| DJ Kitsune |
Author has written 9 stories for Neopets, Sonic the Hedgehog, Star Fox, SWAT Kats, Metroid, and Teen Titans. DJ Kitsune is my handle but the person that I am really is a 26 year old resident of Sedalia, Missouri who loves to write stories and come up with creative ideas. I have two book ideas in the brainstorming phase: "The Tale of The Journeying Races" and "MagiTech". As for my interests/inspirations, I'm a huge fan of comics and graphic novels especially non-superhero works (although I like to read Avengers, Spider-man, X-Men, JLA, and Teen Titans on occasion). And now for the profiles of my stories in full... The B and B/The B and B: Second Shift: This series started as an entry for the Neopets Story Contest that is on the Neopets site every month. When my account was frozen for some unexplained reason, I decided to finish the series rather than let it just sit around and collect dust. It revolves around two characters created by Neopets for three of their games i.e. Princess Fernypoo and Hannah (Hawthorne is my made up last name for her). Armin and Kanrik are also Neopets characters involved with Hannah and they help run their upstart bed and breakfast, hence the name. The Prower Chronicles: Path of the Chosen One: I'd probably came up with 14-15 versions of this story before the one that eventually found its way here and it's the one I'm most proud of...and it seems 3,000+ others agree. It all revolves around the death of Cosmo and Miles Prower's attempt, many years later, to move on with his life. Little does he know the journey that it will take him on or that the soulmate he lost would return, marry him, and be the love of his life once more. I should note that I've learned a lot about not falling into writing potholes i.e. writing plot lines that I can't make fit with other plot lines...I'm a detail person, I'm afraid. The Prower Chronicles: Crucible of Truth: This series introduces a villian straight from Japanese mythology and expandes my use, and the use of readers who fuss over details, of Wikipedia. It also gave me more writing potholes than the first one hence the two day hiatus of having to delete, and correct, chapter six of the story. The Swat Kats finally make their appearance after the death of Dr. Viper, one of their many...many foes. And I finally realized, at about chapter four, that this series could become an epic with a great finale...but you'll have to wait for TPC part three for that. Star Fox: The New Rivals: This is one of the three substories that continues the plotline of 'The Prower Chronicles' while being a story that stands up on its own (in my opinion). Star Fox is one of the groups named by Inari, Miles Prower's ancestoral mother and the Goddess of Foxes/Fertility/Rice (in Japanese mythology) as being assigned the caretaker of one of the Chaos Emeralds. Unfortunately, Falco decides to let Fox's former girlfriend Krystal look at it with her new boyfriend Panther Caruso. They run off with it, of course, and the story continues as Team Star Fox tries to recover the gem before it falls into the hands of Andross, who seeks it, the other emeralds, and a group of seven strange and deadly parchments that are said to be able to summon the power of Order itself. Swat Kats: Brothers In Blood: The second of three substories, the Swat Kats are entrusted with one of the emeralds but, surprise, their archnemesis Dark Kat and his new sidekick Hard Drive seek it and the other emeralds and parchments. Also, a romance between Razor and Felina Feral begins to emerge and Miles Prower is already thinking of hiring the Swat Kats for the corporation he hopes to create...if he ever gets any peace and quiet to do so. Metroid: The New Assignment: The third of three substories, Samus Aran is reunited with the Chozo, who were thought to be exterminated by Ridley, on the planet Zebes. On arrival she watches hundreds, then thousands of Chozo perish from the effects of a parchment that was found on the planet. The Chaos Emerald that she carries protects her, and many other Chozo from death but the Chozo race isn't safe. Ridley seeks the Choas Emeralds and the parchments and will do anything to get them...even finish the job on Zebes that he started years ago if necessary. The Prower Chronicles: When Worlds Collide: Note: I put the descriptions of the series in the order that the plot goes from one story i.e. TPC: Path of the Chosen One to TPC: When Worlds Collide (with Star Fox, Swat Kats, and Metroid inbetween Crucible of Truth and When Worlds Collide timeline-wise.) Miles and Cosmo have finally drawn the battle lines and are prepared to fight Tomomo Mae and her legions of nogitsune with Iraq being the battleground and the site where Order is to be brought forth. With whomever summoning her getting the power to recreate existance in their image this is one battle that Miles and Cosmo cannot afford to lose... The Prower Experience: Trigon the Terrible and Tomomo Mae are imprisoned in the Void Nexus and it seems like Miles and Cosmo will finally be able to live together in peace. But such tranquility is fleeting as an attack by the offspring of one of their friends' most dangerous enemies leaves them with no choice but to fight once more. Miles especially finds himself looking for answers as to what his true purpose really is. The only question is, if and when he finds out, will he be willing to accept it? The Character Profiles for 'The B and B' and 'The B and B: Second Shift': Princess Fernypoo: She not only co-owns "Hannah and Ferny's Bed and Breakfast" but she also 'donated' her castle as its building giving it a complete renovation/makeover, of course. She considers the 'B and B' as it is affectionately called her way of making up for being such a spoilt brat for so long. Her business philosophy reflects her new change in attitude: a home-like atmosphere, word of mouth advertising, and building excellent relationships with both customers and crew. The Character Profiles for 'The Prower Chronicles' and its spinoffs (note that the bios describe each person/group BEFORE 'The Prower Chronicles' begins): Miles 'Tails' Prower: After the death of Cosmo, Miles Prower went back with his friends to Mobius and rejoined the Freedom Fighters. In secret he built a laboratory in Downunda for the sole purpose of researching how to bring his soulmate back to life. After many failed attempts involving fertilizers, robotics, and even the occult, Miles eventually became ever more dependant on antidepressants and other stimulants. It wasn't until a near brush with death in his lab, which he's kept a secret to this very day, and his recovery via the hundreds of robots who attended to him in his recently constructed medical facility, that Miles eventually kicked his dependance to narcotics and renewed his efforts to bring Cosmo back to life. It was also, at this time, that Miles grew more and more distant from his friends eventually leading to his decision to leave the Freedom Fighters. Cosmo Prower: Within minutes of dying after her sacrifice to save the universe from the Metarex Cosmo found herself sentenced to eternity in hell. Lord Enma, before having her escorted to her place of torment, explained to her that her sacrifice had not been necessary and that she still allowed herself to be killed even though she knew this in her heart. Upon being thrust into the seventh circle of hell she slowly grows older and more fragile. This, along with being whipped and raped by servants of Tomomo Mae for ten years, causes her to become dead to all of her feelings. She soon learns that Sonic is responsible for not telling her and Miles that there was another way to defeat the Metarex and her heart, already darkened due to her continuous pain and suffering, becomes pitch black with hatred which is soon directed towards Miles and anyone else she had once loved. Tomomo Mae: The nine-tailed demon fox, resident of hell, and sister of the rice goddess Inari. Her path of darkness began via jealousy of her sister's ability to reproduce hundreds of children while she was destined to be barren. Wanting to use the Chaos Emeralds, at that time in heaven and strictly kamidogu (i.e. tools of the Gods), to grant her a child, Tomomo Mae was vehenemently refused this simple request by the Gods. In an act of revenge, Tomomo Mae attempted to steal the Chaos Emeralds but was stopped before she could get away but not before she was able to toss the gems on a newly created planet (which would eventually become Mobius) first. Banished from the heavens, Tomomo Mae decided to gain children by slowly corrupting Inari's offspring into serving her. Over thousands of years, Tomomo Mae has succeeded in brainwashing over half of Inari's offspring with Miles Prower being Tomomo Mae's next target. Team Star Fox: Now only consisting of Fox McCloud, Slippy Toad, and Falco Lombardi, Team Star Fox has found themselves in a position of not being nearly as busy as the Lylat Galaxy is in relative peace. Krystal and Fox have had an on-again off-again relationship while Falco and Slippy have pursued their own interests: Falco in training further in the martial arts and Slippy in creating weapons alongside his father for the Cornerian government. Slippy has also managed to do some undercover work and has quickly made several contacts who, in exchange for getting their hands on new technologies before anyone else, offer him information on anything he needs whether its the location of wanted criminals (who he secretly turns in to the authorities) to the location of rare materials needed to further he and his father's endeavors. SWAT Kats: The Swat Kats, much like Team Star Fox, also find themselves without a lot to do outside of bringing one of their old nemesis to justice which is becoming less and less a challenge. Razor has started to develop feelings for Felina Feral and, even though T-Bone used to feel the same way, he has his partners encouragement and not so welcome dating advice. Commander Feral has, slowly, begun to listen to his niece and begrudgingly considers the SWAT Kats as welcome allies. Still unaware of the SWAT Kats true identities it may be just a matter of time before they are revealed especially if Felina and Razor's relationship blossoms. Samus Aran: With no bounties to hunt, Samus (like Team Star Fox and the SWAT Kats) has seen her workload almost evaporate but she's recently took a position within the Galactic Federation alongside newcomers Bill Grey and Katt Monroe. It's a refreshing change for Samus but in her heart she still itches for combat. Be careful what you wish for, Samus... | |||||||||||
