howdy!

I've fallen into fandom and I can't get up. Started reading around June 2007 and I'm working my way through the completed fic from oldest to newest. I'm down to page 5 of 314, so if y'all would stop adding fic on to my 'to be read' pile, I should be done some time in July 2008. edit: I've actually caught up and am on page 1 of 504. Whoo-hoo! It's almost like an accomplishment.

That's also my excuse for having posted so little. I'm working on (what has turned out to be) the rest of The Gift. Seems it doesn't want to be a one-shot. Slowly, but surely, I work on it in my head, and eventually type it into the 'puter.

I'm in St. Louis, MO and enjoying the lovely weather we're having right now. I'm 44 years old but have officially regressed to teenage girl squealy fandom, thanks to all the great fic here on the site (and the links - good Lord! Save me from following the links. Geikezetsu and Astolat's LiveJournals are kicking my butt, because I keep re-reading their stuff when I'm supposed to be reading here. If you go, be warned. There's Wincest. And slash. And phenomenally well-written gen, also.)
