Update

Rewrite of Hivemind is up, under the name Royal Prerogative.

Yo, all of you. Another author is assisting me with my Royal Prerogative efforts, and has pointed out a number of things that could be done to make the story more...uh. Well, just 'more' is a simple enough way to put it. So, I'm sorry to say that the next chapter will be delayed somewhat more, but the final product should be much improved. There will also be some edits to earlier chapters, which I will make sure to point out when they are put up. Nothing big, but as one of my reviewers pointed out, the Aburame seem to be more emotional than they should be. Which unfortunately, I didn't notice before I posted the chapters. Anyways.

Real life in the form of looking for work has also intruded, though I do intend to spend some time on the story for the sake of my own sanity. Constantly doing one thing is...not good for me.

Update!! (7/22/10): I've been remiss in updating this. I've got a job now, and while I actually have a large amount of story written...it's on paper, and thus I have to transcribe it to my computer in order to actually post it here. Over the next few days, there should be a large update coming. Though knowing me, it may be longer. Anyway, these new chapters should be a bit faster, moving the story along. The background is largely finished, and I am coming up to the first timeskip point. While some of you may groan at that word, I really doubt you want to hear a text version of three or four years, which is the time till graduation for Naruto. So, after all this slightly tedious background is out of the way, we can start getting into the real meat of things.
